  • To anyone who says that the AR or AK is the best, it actually depends on the PEOPLE (NOT THE GUN ITSELF) that HANDLE the weapon that determines how "great" or "superior" the gun actually is. Yes, scientifically, the AR has better accuracy but still lacks in terms of reliability (same as the AK easily stands with better damage as well as reliability, lacking only in accuracy itself). However, given how I said how "great" a gun is actually determined by, America's enemies cannot actually be deeme

  • @TheTechCguy your statement is fundamentally flawed

  • Twitter@jaystreezy to me the AR-15 looks better.!! I know the AK has more power ...but the AR is the war gun!

  • would you still need to have the tube sticking out of the ar15 pistol if you had a gas piston system?

  • AR-15 for accuracy. AK-47 for reliability.

  • AK reloadin' trick with 2nd magazine was innovation for 1970.

  • in combat ar15 or m16 would win aginast ak47

  • 2. The M16 originally used a 20-round magazine which was later replaced by a bent 30-round design. As a result, the magazine follower tends to rock or tilt, causing malfunctions. The M16's magazine is made of light weight pressed/stamped aluminum. Therefore, it is easier to damage than an AK-47 magazine as the feed lips are proportionally weaker when compared to the AK-47.

  • @antiigravity lol, are you talking 1960's tech or what?

  • 1. Magazines

A major but often overlooked factor in a firearm's reliability is the design of its magazine. The AK-47’s magazine has a pronounced curve which allows it to smoothly feed ammunition into the chamber. Its heavy steel construction combined with "feed-lips" (the surfaces at the top of the magazine that control the angle at which the cartridge enters the chamber) machined from a single steel billet makes it highly resistant to damage. This makes the AK-47 magazine more reliable.

  • @antiigravity ever hear of a fucking PMAG?

  • If I had to arm an army I'd pick an AK47. If I had to arm myself I'd chose an AR.

  • @oeyesea cost effective

  • Same sight radius? Well you are correct about saying the Ak sights are forward and this makes a HUGE difference! The farther back a rear sight is the better. btw i love both.

  • whenever I want a a laugh I watch a ak vs ar videos, because even if it's done well i still laugh since comparing both weapon is really pointless since they are to different to really be compared.

  • AK-47 IS THE BEST GUN IN THE WORLD PLUS TIS GUY IS NOT USING A REAL AK HES USING A CHEAP AMERICAN REPLICA!!!! HE SHOULD COMPARE A REAL 1

  • @TheBigone979 you obviously dont know shit about marksmanship

  • @HunterKiller308 i know everything there is to know abount bouth guns i hav both guns and the ak is better all the way

  • @TheBigone979 your just another ignorant AK fanbitch parrot, you all got the same lines.

keep sucking on that Commie propaganda cock

  • IN THIS VIDEO , WHICH IS BETTER GUN ? AK OR AR ? SUPPORT YOUR ANSWER WITH FEW FUNDAMENTAL THINGS IN FEW WORDS NOT 30 MIN FUCKING VIDEO.

  • They are both beautiful weapons if you ask me. If I was in a warzone i think I would take an AR 15 but I would never turn my nose up to an AK.

  • both have they're advantages and disadvantages. it really all breaks down to if you want a gun than fires a slower larger caliber round or a gun that fires a smaller more faster round. i like the fact that the AK looks oldschool in a sense and still comes in wood but you cant judge a book by its cover.

  • Ak47 all the way. Better gun. Stronger. Reliable. Cheap. Bigger mags. Its all about reliablity and power on the field. Also, ak47 is accurate if you know how to shoot a gun properly.

  • First of all the ar 15 would kill the ak y didn't u put an m 60 or something like that?..

  • You are very funny. First: It's not an AK-47. This kind of AKM modification. Secondly, why you are comparing latest model with a very old modification AK? Why do not you compare AR15 with AK hundredth series, with AEK-971, AN-94, AS Val. You would have it compared with a musket. Google for something new.

Find some special weapons, At least 1980 ...

AKM has existed since 1959, and an AK-47 since 1949 ....

  • @mirror000100 i totally agree but the ak-47 was made in 1947....

  • @clapmobile i'm sorry :) my bad :)

1944 :) First modificftions were constructed in 1944. But first serial modification was in 1947.

  • I like the ar-15 better it doesent have much recoil and the ak it's good but i think of it as a gun that is used by terrorists.

  • @classiccarfan100

The same would be said about the Stoner design by other people, nationalism has no place in rational thought, especially the cost benefit process when picking a rifle

  • I'd still go with the AR15, the Smith and Wesson M&P 15 sport is a great deal and a fantastic weapon. Very accurate!

  • great comparison.

i like that you went through the point quickly...well, 30 mins isn't quick, LOL, but you didn't make 5 videos that are 20 mins each.

i'm shopping for one right now and it's def a tough choice selecting between the 2 of them.

  • @rsaeini

thanks, while there is no perfect answer for everyone, the hope is with enough info each person can make a good decision for them and their situation

  • @rsaeini thats why i just bought both

  • @rsaeini If you are looking to buy an AR, look up USAammo. They have an AR for 700 dollars plus a free Yankee hill flip sight which costs around 100 bucks.

  • I started out favoring the AK system but after over 17 years of using ARs at work, they've kind of grown on me. Light weight, capable of carrying +1,000rounds on you, excellent accuracy, excellent ergonomics very open for modifications, recoild and muzzle climb are manageable.

  • VERY unbiased and informative. 11B thought me to love my M4 but my civilian life thought me to love my AK. You speak the truth in many aspects throughout your video. BOTH are GREAT weapon systems. ^^

  • Another awesome video, very thought provoking.

  • @fredhart

thanks.. are you researching for a comparison of your own?

Your POV on the subject would be interesting

  • AR all the way.....

  • AK-103 FTW !

  • Great video buddy, your points were not biased at all, unlike alot of AR vs AK videos. Very good video.

  • I am an AR guy but I have a AK too.

  • Getting boring! Man I been up all night looking for a lengthy video, I found this & it was really entertaining. I'm a AR & AK guy, I love both platforms & I can't see how a gun lover can hate either one. I too say its what your more comferteble with. I'm more comferteble with a AR so that's my fav. More accurate & can get quicker follow up shots

  • great post!

  • im having issues taking off my cleaning rod off my damn wasr10

  • @MattsMisc

try putting a key ring through the hole on the end, gives you a much easier thing to grab

  • Idk why this is still a debate. Who cares which is the better weapon, they're both really great weapons in their own respect. Really the only question is, which are you more comfortable using, and i think that's what this video really did, helped to touch on all the civilian qualities of the weapons for recreation shooters. This debate should've been over before it began

  • Man I hate it when us stupid Americans think that we have the best technology and the best weapons, thats all horse crap! The U.S. is so behind the times! and when people say that the Russians can't make anything good. They are full of crap! Russians have made some of the best weapons around and have made very inovative machinery.

  • @godzilla1463 i never said the Soviets dont make anything good, in fact im supprised they got as far as they did with what they had to work with, just like im supprised the AK is as good at it is considering what it is, a cheap stamped and pressed mass produced automatic rifle.

i have no idea what you mean by saying the U.S. is " so behind the times" we have the strongest and most capabile military in the world.in large part to out Nimitz class aircraft carriers and nuclear subs, all unmatched

  • @HunterKiller308 I wasn't necissarily mean u I'm just talking in general, and yes your right we do have the most powerful military in the world and thank God for it. When I meant "behind the times" I meant technology and engineering in general. Europe and several other countries have the best tech on the planet. I'm said that because a lot of American's have this thought process that we are the best at everything when were not.

  • @godzilla1463 The AK reqires less cleaning? Soviet and Russian troops clean their rifle every chance they got, no soldier is going to knowing not clean and damage their rifle. the AK is FAR from self cleaning. easier to feild strip? maybe with DI systems since you have to take down the bolt, with piston driven system you dont have to,just like all piston guns ARs are VERY simple weaplon and were desingned to be totally maintained at user level, unlike the AK, you need a barrel press and tools

  • @HunterKiller308 I never said it was self cleaning, no gun is lol but I'm just saying the majority of the time an AK is going to function better if not cleaned regularily, as an AR. Both Guns are VERY reliable systems. And yes the AR is very simple, to one who has trained with it. The AK is a self explained weapon its simplicity makes it awesome.

  • @godzilla1463 i really dont think you can say the AK is AK is going to function better if not cleaned regularily when compaired with a Piston driven AR, and if that AR happens to have an EXO nickel boron coated colt carrier i might even say its more reliable.

i do agree both weapons are very reliable platforms, but its really dosent take any training at all to operate an AR, maintaing it is a differant story however, as it is with any weapon

  • @HunterKiller308 true but most nations don't use AR's with pistons. Even though those would be nice. Just my over all point is that history has shown that the AK will tend to function better without being cleaned a lot. If both weapons were put into the field and either of them were cleaned and put through a ton of enviromental challenges (as history has shown) the AK will perform under the harshest conditions.

  • @godzilla1463 in areas the US is behind in military tech its being developed by other UN nations and we would buy it and use it or delope it from there. German and Belgian small arms are some of the finest in the world and Japan is all over software tech.

no country is the best at everything and alot of tech is shared and joit developed.

but i know for a fact we wouldnt be the Superpower if we had anything but the best shit avalible, thats why the military is looking to adopt the FN SCAR

  • @HunterKiller308 very good points thats why friendly alliances have there advantages to help one another.

  • Very nice for the beginner. I solved the problem by having both. In a SHTF scenario I plan on the AK for in the neighborhoods and the AR for out of town use. You might mention the weight of the loaded magazines. The AK's weigh so much more than the AR's. If you plan on packing ammo around the AR is the best bet. That's another reason to use the AK in town as well as the 7.62 being able to penetrate walls, smaller trees and vehicles easily.

  • wow i learned so much from this video, thanks!

  • the AK is for terroists

  • haha muzzle nuts

  • you could have briefly mentioned that ther are many types of ar-15s that are built with a piston system making them in my opinion slightly more reliable and easier to clean

  • hahaha....bunch of gun nuts whacking off while they polish their guns

  • I appreciate your work, great videos, very informative. For this AK47 vs AR15 review, would you also consider comment on the potency of the 7.65mm and the 5.56mm calibers? (effective range, for instance) Thanks.

  • Thats an East-German KMS-72 right ?

  • Do you have any videos about AEK-971?

  • Ak is just so fucking hardcore.

  • @GunWebsites...........hey man nice video! I don't own either of these, but I do read A LOT. Very informational, and a like how you pointed out pros and cons of both. I don't like how some people are all one way or the other. By the way is that a spent steel case on your ak charging handle to make it longer? Possibly easier to manipulate?

  • i think all gun lovers should be able to see the goods and bads from both firearms

  • .30 caliber is better for getting through stuff like in an urban warfare type thing

  • I am trying to decide between these two platforms. I have an SKS but that is a different weapon for different use. I find this video to be EXTREMELY educational, insiteful and informative, Thank you very much for posting this and for putting things in laymans terms for dummies like me :-)

  • @grandchunk68

thanks for the kind words, glad you enjoyed the vid

  • @grandchunk68 I really enjoy the larger standard AK round; very fun to shoot and cheap

  • AR is modular. ok we get it, iron sights never let me down. a tac. light gives away my position, a laser, c'mon learn to aim, red dot, ok but it'll fail eventually and every combat rifle made can accommodate an optic sys. vert grip, ok, but you can get that on a ak too. accuracy, ok, try taking the time to aim during a fire fight you'll find that though the AR is mo accurate it counts for nothing if you dont have time to use it to it's fullest. they're both great rifles. and neither is superior

  • @boognish59 all the aftermarket parts you listed can be put on an AK as well, the Ar is truely modular due to the ability of changing out recivers.

you think one cant take full advantage of the ARs accuracy in combat? i guess you didnt hear about the investigations in iraq about the marines who were shooting people in the HEAD past 200M because thats the only target they expose when firing from behind cover

the AR can do EVERYTHING better than the AK

    prove me wrong

  • @HunterKiller308 AK74M for example, is lighter than M16, is more reliable, almost on par with accuracy(no problem hitting peoples heads past 200m). Its fucking stupid to compare AK47 and M16.

  • @Vamutus you think you can produce 5 inch groups at 200 yards with an AK74? you make me laugh, you have obviously never fired an Ak at anything but dirt

an Ak is lighter than the AR? HA you obviously never even handled one, not only is the AK heavier, its front heavt due to the gas block and that makes for shitty swing weight

not to mention the 5.45 is a shit knock off of the 5.56 and wont fragment or cause significant cavitation

  • @HunterKiller308 AK74M is lighter than M16, go check it. Dont start with the "knock-down" power bullshit, if you get hit with either 5.45 or 5.56 its game over for you. AK47 is way heavier than any AR, i was talking of AK74M which is actually comparable with M16.

  • @Vamutus a basic AR will be ligher than a basic AK, one is aluminum and composites, the other is steel and wood its common knowledge nubnuts, and an AK will ALWAYS have a heavier swing weight do to the gas block

it depends on where you get shot and a 5.56 will do more damage to an organ that a 5.45, it fragments creating multiple wound channels

    do your homework

  • @HunterKiller308 You do your homework, AK74 is lighter than the M16A2 or M16A4. As i said, if you hit a guy with a 5.45, its one guy less to shoot at you.

  • @Vamutus IN GENERAL ARS ARE LIGTHER THAN AKS AND ONLY BY A FEW POUNDS

ITS COMMON FUCKING KNOWLEDGE DUMB SHIT ASK ANYONE

AKS HAVE HEAVIER SWING WEIGHT DUE TO THE GAS BLOCK

ITS COMMON FUCKING KNWLEDGE DUMB SHIT ASK ANYONE

IM SO SICK YOU YOU IGNORANT AK FAN BOYS PARROTING BULLSHIT

  • @HunterKiller308 Im not a fucking AK fanboy, go punch yourself in the cock. Theres no "ARs in general", the weight varies from 2.8 to 4 kg just like AKs. I said AK74:s are lighter than M16A2 or M16A4(without optics or any stuff), Even AKM is 3.4 Kg unloaded, about 3.8 unloaded. learn to reading comprehension little faggot. And AK74 has very light recoil due to the cartridge and muzzle break. Weight of AK is not unbalanced at all. Im not saying AR platform is bad, its great actually.

  • @Vamutus AKS ARE FRONT HEAVY DUE TO THE GAS BLOCK, IF YOU SAY ITS NOT YOUR A STUPID SHIT THAT NEVER HELD ONE, AND YOU DID SO YOU ARE

your trying to compaire a 20" M16 to a 16" AK? what a stupid fucking thing to do

  • @HunterKiller308 They are front heavy compared to AR, or are you saying "DURR THEY ARE SO FRONT-HEAVY ITS A PAIN TO AIM". dont go judging on other people.

  • @Vamutus your a dumbass

  • @HunterKiller308 Get a job faggot

  • @Vamutus inteligent rebuttal dip shit

  • @Vamutus you can bitch all you want you still havent proved how the Ak is better than the AR in any way shape or form

  • @HunterKiller308 I tried. Do you know why AR and AK are so common? its not because "AK IS CRUDE BULLET HOSE DURR" its because they are both good. Still, the fact is that AK74(which is comparable to M16) is lighter than M16, but that doesnt prove a shit, its fucking apples and oranges.

  • @Vamutus wrong again dip shit! the AK is so common because the Soviets made billions of cheap, mass produced and stamped rifle and gave tons of them to anyone who said they wanted to be communist or hated America.

the AR is as popular as it is because Americans know how to make high quality weapons. do you really fucking think our Military (most powerful in the world) would settle for anything but the best avalible weapons? they are about to adopt even better stuff in the upcoming trials

  • @HunterKiller308 And that is the reason you hate AK?

"because Americans know how to make high quality weapons" So do the russians. AK was designed in need. Go somewhere else to jizz around "HEY OUR MILITARY STROGN ONLY BEST". fucking mall ninja faggot

  • @Vamutus never said i hated the AK, dontput words in my mouth shithead.

im sure i could use an AK to great effect within 250M

its a common fact that the US makes better stuff than the Soviets, russian nucular subs leak and sink to the bottom of the ocean, they have been behind us from day one.

im not saying America makes the only nice guns, German, Belgan, Austrian firearms are nice too, as well as others

there is nothing an AK can do that an AR cant do better, prove me wrong

  • @HunterKiller308 Use steel case ammo. Use ammo with shitty powder & not foul so bad it won't function. There. Two things the AK can do Reliably that the AR cant. Also.. Fold the stock. Or be used to buttsroke something without breaking components that are critical for the weapon to function. Be taken down in the field & not have tiny pieces that can be lost in the grass. What is that.... 5 things?

  • @Friedstuffsable i shoot steel cased corrosive shit out of my AR all the time. and with a drop in piston system its just as reliable as an AK. you can fold the sock on a AR if you shorten the bolt group and buffer tube, such as the Colt SCW, or you can put ant folding stock on a pistion driven AR pistol such as the RR PDS. there is no problem preforming a butt strike with the AR, theres nothing in there but a spring, wont hurt it.

any point you tried to make has been rendered moot

  • @HunterKiller308 The Bolt carrier recedes into the tube in the stock. If that tube breaks, the gun will not function.

  • @Friedstuffsable true, and thats a big plus to the AK in terms of breaking your stock over someguys head being detrimental to its function. the AR buffer spring is huge next to the AK, that means far less recoil.

no weapon is perfect, but we can strive for it. you want a state of the art weapon get a SCAR

  • @HunterKiller308 "they have been behind us from day one" Take a look at soviet and russian equipment, its hard to say they have been all behind US. During cold war both sides copied other equipment pretty much all the time. AK47 is way worse then M16 for example, i dont know why people even compare those, homewer i think AK74M is just as effective as later models of M16. Its cheaper and simpler to manufacture, M16 is slightly more accurate. in the end it depends on the user.

  • @Vamutus its common knowledge that America makes better stuff than Soviets

  • @HunterKiller308 yes true but the AK uses its simple design to its advantage, meaning easier to fieldstrip, clean, and requires less cleaning. But in terms of average reliability AK has an advantage even though the AR is a very reliable system

  • @Vamutus pick up a history book dipshit

  • Comment removed

  • Then again I have only ever owned a cheese dick Wasr-10

  • I prefer the AR15.

  • the AR15 is a far supirior weapon in every aspect

range, accuracy, ergonomics, recoil managment, modularity..the list goes on

  • @HunterKiller308 well if you compare a maintained ar15's accuracy against an ak47 that has a shot out barrel and was maintained with motor oil and gasoline as solvent, then yes, but there are tons of options for pistol grips and stocks to make the AK47 just as comfortable as any ar15, and if you can't handle the AK47's recoil, too bad.

  • @saj12100 LMFAO, you cant be serious. if you think you dont have to maintain your AK just like any other rifle your foolish especially with all that corrosive shit you put through it. if your AK, or any other rifle has a shot out barrel its time to get a new one. an AR will always be far more accurate than a AK, maintained or not.alot of people try to dress up their Aks like AR, but they will never be as modular or ergonomic. AK recoil? lol, im a 308 guy

  • The Ak47 is not hard to operate, cheaper to make, and they're everywhere. I prefer the m4, ar15, and the ak74. But that's just me. The ar15 and m4 don't really work as well if they're operated by retards.

  • @TheDondajonhon46 no gun works very well if operated by a retard.

  • @HunterKiller308 I guess in a way that makes sense.

  • good comparison in function, but terrible comparison in how applicable malfunctions would be addressed in an actual combat situation. right handed shooters in a combat situation would never remove their right hand from the pistol grip to manipulate the bolt... You need review the way that the firearms are manipulated in actual conditions. all in all though good video.

  • wow great video. good job.

  • Putting optics on AK is defeating its purpose. Its NOT a rifle where you lie in cover and engage at max range. Its a rifle that's made for battles of WW2. Vietnam also proved that max range engagements are rare with usual battle at around 200-250 meters. No need for optics at that range. Does need a nicer pistol grip.

When clearing malfunction you ALWAYS open the port. No need for hold-open. its a gimmick.

I found AK mag insertion easier then AUG mag well. Especially when shaking.

  • If you were shot in an arm in battle good luck using the AK 1-handed. Also, the reciprocating charging handle may give you trouble firing from behind cover&the bolt not being held open when magazine is empty slows the AK down. Reliability is overrated. Look around & you'll see people know ways to make the AR very reliable. Plus, if there's a ftf every 5,800rounds, it won't be a big deal considering firefights are usually less than 300rounds, even at the AR will put out a faster rate of fire.

  • AK47 is best for most people but not everybody is "most people". People underrate M4's close range effectiveness. Why? 1 of FPSRussians vids explains it best: in full auto he shot a man-sized target with every round in the M4. 30 small holes>1 big hole. Mag well is more important than what people think because in combat you'll be shaking like a dog trying to shit a peach pit& that awkward AK mag swap is going to be even slower.

  • @545Krinkify Yeah, I know, Im just saying. Not to bash or offend or anything.

  • Dude, sorry if someone said this or anything, but I think you interchanged AK with AR at 14:37.

  • I think the AEK-971 is the best AK variant that is currently available. But the thing I hate about it is that I think the internals of the gun got a lot more complicated and that it does not have that button to release the upper receiver anymore.

  • @timothychong48 AEK-971 is actually not a lot more complex then AK. There is a gear and an extra piston moving the other way, Thats all. Its also not an AK variant. Designed in a different design bureau in Kovrov while AK was made in Izhevsk. But AEK IS superior to AK.

  • @Spetsnazovets Thanks for the info, but I wonder how you can see the internals of the gun? Yes, AEK is superior to the AK but the AK will always be a man-made legend.

  • @timothychong48 A while back I saw it in field-stripped state on Russian TV. Very similar to standard AK.

AK sure is a legend :) Now its actually a brand. The next firearm to be made for Russian military from Izhevsk will have designation AK although will be nothing like the original AK.

  • @Spetsnazovets Yeah, I suppose,

  • Nice guns there bud!

  • @545Krinkify Yeah the AK 47 would win CQB but i still love the M4, you can customize it more than the AK-47 the M16 which i wont lie is a very great gun and without it there would no M4 but i like the look and feel of an M4 better than AK 47. Damn terrorists they truly ruined the image of the Ak47

  • @545Krinkify but the m16 is kinda long the m4 is better for CQB but the m16 is better for longer ranges.

  • M4A1 all the way!!!!

  • @545Krinkify The maching gunner who had 400 round was part of a team carrying more. Follow up shots with a .308 are a lot less likely then with 5.56 or 5.45 if your target doesn't go down from the first shot. The recoil isn't so bad that you can't quickly re-engage if the threat is on the ground still alive. And deer are lot different then people, the're tougher. I have never seen a man remain standing after getting hit with 7.62. If he did live, he didn't get up very fast.

  • a different compensator.

  • @545Krinkify I meant carried a M240B, the machinegun, with 400 rounds sometimes 1000 rounds in a daypack. Actualy, it was one of those small camelbak backpacks. If 400 rounds isn't a whole lot for a rifleman, then he isn't using his weapon and ammo effecitively when you have a whole squad with automatic weapons at the squadleaders disposal. As far as rate of fire, I'm not too concerned about hammer pairs or double taps with a 7.62 NATO. And If I realy needed to fire that fast, I would just get

  • Eugene Stoner was stoned whe he designed the ar15

  • @545Krinkify I know a few machine gunners who carried a 240 and 400 rounds of linked 7.62, some even carried the gun and 1000 rounds linked in a backpack. Ammo capacity isn't and issue. There were also a few ambushed initiated about 400m. Plus, the U.S. Military doesn't use the AK.

  • both are battle hardened rifles but I would choose an AR15/M16 platform anyday. Im also a soldier so I may be a bit biased. HOOAH

  • apples VS oranges.

  • Thank you for putting up an unbiased video

  • @mitcheloaks

I think I am a bit biased, but I tried not to be in this one, thanks

  • @ozvnman no not nessesarilly Russian ak s that are high quality are my favorite

  • The M14 = Effective martyrdom facilitator.

  • I have an AK with the sane stock as that AR and a red dot sight, pistol grip on the end, bipod, tactical flashlight, and a laser

  • American-made AK'S are a lot better aren't they?

  • Great video, thanks. No expert here, but the video makes the AK seem a bit more like a grunt gun, which is what I want when SHTF

  • @545Krinkify so true

  • everyone rips on ar15/m16 rifles not being relible when the military isnt using a1 enymore

  • Great vid.

  • everyone complains about the kick of the AK but i shot'em and its not as bad as people claim. Obviously if you've been shooting ARs and M4s for most of your life and then shot an AK its gonna be a big change for you.

  • Would you prefer a piston AR over an AK?

  • @Scabota

    nope

  • 2 great guns both reliable but which is better

  • AK you can drag thru the mud and water, pick it up and she shoots. The internals of the AK are very basic, simple and very strong. Many options now on the Arsenal,Saiga,Izhmash AK styles..concept of AK after WW2 was go into cqb in a town and kill no matter the weather or support day and night 24/7.So easy to strip down the AK in field.

  • The Main difference is that the AR was made to be an assualt rifle while the AK was used more as a machine gun or close quarters weapon

  • so if I wanted to shoot a mob of people on the streets down with one of these guns, for example purposes. which would be the best and which is lighter weight, do you think you could jump over fences with it quite easily?

  • @vdublovexo ar15 all the way, for weight, and low recoil for better accuracy, u can stay on target alot easier with the ar15. and its alot lighter than the ak47, but the ar15 requires good maintenance, it likes to run wet, an ak will keep chuggin with little cleaning and lubricating. also the bigger round penetrates walls and such better. in an urban environment gimme an ak, out in the country gimme an ar15, just buy both!

    /watch?v=QbYMt1bKyKo

    good cleaning vid

  • Sks mybad I have all 3 Sks hands down

  • If u want reliability and accuracy get the dam SMS anyone of them

  • @jcbaeza143 the sks is an excellent weapon.....for sniping, up close, you'll regret only having 10 round mags. their heavy too, pounds=pain while hoofing it. ar15 all the way

  • at the end of the day, they are both lean mean killing machines.

  • Get a mac 11 and izumi also

  • God, people are stupid.

  • @545Krinkify

No, is it cool? I live in California so pretty much all the cool guns are illegal haha

  • @GunWebsites

Nice video, I really enjoyed understanding the differences between the rifles. I've shot both, but I prefer the AR because I feel that I can recover from the recoil and place another shot downrange much more quickly than with the AK. Which do you personally prefer?

  • @FrigginLeprechaun69

AK for the most part, but I still like ARs too

  • Apparently the majority of AK-47's seen in movies aren't actually AK-47's there cheap replicas called Norinco Type 47's. I'm not sure, I'm not claiming to be a weapons expert.

  • @CameronS654321

Why do you think a chinese AK47 isn't an AK47?

  • @GunWebsites I meant that the Chinese Norinco Type 47's aren't authentic AK47's. I'm pretty sure there aren't many differences, but it's still not 100% authentic.

  • @CameronS654321 Well, maybe true Now, but the Movie Red Dawn used Finnish versions of the AK47.

  • @VALsacount2

    no they didnt

  • @VALsacount2 Do you know what the name of it was?

  • @545Krinkify yeah, and we're kicking their asses...

  • Do you think some of the comments by people who obviously have no real experience with these rifles, but want to sound like experts, funny?
