Thank you to a "diversity seminar" everyone in the dorm had to attend... Did you notice Nalt's hat? It has a bear paw print on it colored with the rainbow... If I can remember correctly, the bear paw print is used to describe a section of the male gay community called "bears" (hairier, stockier masculine men) and the rainbow is just extra support. To me, the fact that he was in the tattoo shop wasn't the "gay" thing, it was his hat that gave him away.
