After Effects: Slow motion knife

I'm not a profissional in these " After Effects Effects", but...if you use a green Knife?With the Chroma key you change the green to a silver color, after, in the time you throw the knife, you change the color of the knife to transparent.....

@Kimatato Its More easy to edit the "throw" scene Frames in Photoshop or Mask in After Effects, since the Chroma Key will put a Static color in the Object , this will not capture the Lighting or the Full Motion of the Knife, So in this case,is more simple to edit frame by frame , then Put the 3D Knife.

@mocarg Here's a simple trick to really remove the knife in your hand as you shot the video. As you throw the knife, while the hand holding the knife is on your back release the knife, letting it fall on your back. (It won't show on video as the fall is hidden on the back.) Do not pause, continue with the motion of throwing, ending with the open hand. 'Hope that helps.
