This is pretty much the most powerful engine you can get out of a honda, even the piece of shit almost 100k NSX engine sucks balls. And it takes a bunch of bolt ons, and nitrous, to run the same speed as a stock mustang while spraying, while the mustang is one of the smallest and weakest muscle car engines while stock. This is a real dissapointment to all those honda nuthuggers, and yet they are still brainwashed to believe their cars are sooo fast, lmao.
I got a 1992 Honda Prelude SI 2.3L and a 1996 Ford Mustang GT 4.6L and I think the prelude feels and run much better than the mustang and not to mention just for driving about 20 min from home to work it takes a quarter of tank and the prelude really didn't even took half a quarter.
those were good runs, but y'all do know that the honda has more hp than that mustang and barely won by 1 car length! yeah, it's a four banger beating a stock GT(about 5hp worth of mods!) compared to the honda w/ 65shot, exhaust, pullies! the mustang w/ the same mods would be diffrent story, but besides that good races!
these cars arent great off the line cause the automatic kills them, BUT off a roll were untouchable by most. the 97-01 prelude makes 200hp with a 2.2L motor. the 99-04 gt makes 260 with a 4.6L. the prelude has 91 hp per liter. the stang makes only 56.52 per liter. if you made the prelude into a v8 it would make 400hp with a 4.4L motor. cmon these cars are well designed and definately arent gay

that's also why your prelude engine is a piece of shit, and is one of the most fragile 4 cyl engines that exists. it's easy to pump power into any engine, but in exchange for reliability. that's also why race car engines like formula one, are used once, then sent to recycling.

Uh actually they do make 91hp/L. They are underrated from the factory by about flywheel 30hp.
Go dyno a Terminator and most have around 380rwhp..lol on 4 lbs of boost.

In my opinion 92-96 SR-V Preludes are faster then the 97-01 Ludes, well from stock anyways.....mostly cuz there is a weight difference
