o dear, the only reason he would have been able to drive into that position i can think off before his breaks came on would be the old type off system, if all the air had leaked out the breaks they dont work and only come on when the air has built back up (about the time your trying to tow a mate!). new spring breaks stop this from happening now, as jaynic said, we have all been there!
