  • this is one helluva of a song by the ultimate black touring band, Maze. The only bands who toured more than Maze are the Grateful Dead and George Clinton/P-Funk or maybe not. But the great thing in common with with all is no matter how many times you see them, they get better and better.

  • I got this on repeat, jamming away in the computer lab...It just takes me away! When you look at the problem the world faces today, it all comes down to one thing: Love. Either very little of it or too much of it in the wrong directions. We are one...regardless of race, age, gender, wealth! Peace out...

  • Dolphins Head Coach Sparano sent out a spirited message to Dolfans-He said he needs you all at the stadium 2REPRESENT & that the team needs your support & undying loyalty-He finished up with-We're going to get there (GET THERE-WHERE? DAMN-iT) one way or the other-I hope its with you but we'll do it without you-What do you think about his message-Will you be cheering on the Fins @SunLifeStadium this season-Sound off @WPLG Your responses will be read on WPLG Local 10 News @6am "BELiEVE"

  • @SuperRooker77 shame...they don't know good music

  • this is my shit right here!!!

  • when my brothers and I get together we play good music like this and they two step with my daughter in the living room like my uncles danced with me, I want her to have heart warming moments, like I had from growing up. Life after all is memories and I want her to have as many good ones as possible.

  • SITTING BACK CHILLING ON THE BACK PORCH,RELAXING,DREAMING, AND LISTENING TO MAZE BRINGS BACK MEMORIES OF A TIME WHEN MUSIC LIKE THIS WAS COMMON, MAN BRING BACK THE OLD DAY'S

  • Even though Maze featuring Frankie Beverly have a load of songs that I absolutely love, I would narrow my two favorites to "We Are One & Reason". I love when towards the end when he goes ' We are one, oh, ay, ay, ay, ay ay"! They don't make R&B like this anymore! Anyone who agrees, represent!

  • This is truly that card party, everybody groovin and drinking kinda music. They just don't put em out like that anymore.

  • Too bad! They just don't make music or have singers this SMOOOOOTH !

  • DAMN... 22 PEOPLE BORN WITHOUT EARS!!!

  • @JROQ20 people these DAYS havent heard good music!

  • I AM PLANNING ON SINGING DIZ SONG AT MY BROTHA'S WEDDDING...LOL

  • man its music like this that you just sit in the back yard and groove to or just sit round the house playing dominoes or cleaning. jammin and cleaning!!!!! Remember stuff like this growing up my daddy used to be jammin.

  • As a Child I use to study this album cover for clues to what Life was all about.

EWF and MAZE was always the music which spoke to my heart.

If You listen to this Music and Study Their Album Covers, One will find deeper meaning and ways to open the heart to True Power thru Spirit, Understanding and Love. I was blessed by my dear friend and Soul Sister Kimberly Bailey to actually work with EWF as Their Male Groomer. Yes ! This Music is ALIVE , ETERNAL and FOREVER an inspiration of memories.

  • I am true Frankie Beverly & Maze fan, and will travel to see them several times a year. This group has truly stood the test of time...and continue to entertain millions throughout the world. My condolences to the Maze family and biological family of McKinley "June Bug" Willams. RIP my brother.

  • Whenever Frankie and Maze are playing one forgets about all the B.S. going especially when sippin on something! Sometimes their music can make you think hard on some shyt. But at the end of it all its always a good feeling or memory. Timeless music, by a timeless BAND !

  • Although the group has never won any awards, Frankie is still an incredible musical innovator along with a powerful collection of talent.

  • My condolences to the surviving McKINLEY "BUG" WILLIAMS and MAZE Families. R.I.P. McKINLEY WILLIAMS.

McKINLEY WILLIAMS, was the Percussionist and one of the the three founding members of the group MAZE. This leaves Leader/Lead Singer FRANKIE BEVERLY as the only surviving original member of MAZE Featuring FRANKIE BEVERLY.

  • me being an old foggie, only 45, but what music, never went one, but was the summer festivals, for groove, funk, reggae, and of course soul, called kaistas, anyone let me know, cheers. x

  • I love this song

  • I love this kind of music!! Make me wanna grab my fam and chill in the backyard with some good food, cards, or dominoes and show them that we are one!! No matter what my ppl we are all family!! Thats what this song is all about!! Have A Good One My Family!! MAze one of the best!!

  • RIP McKinley "Bug" Williams

  • I came out with this album...83'

  • Just saw Frankie Beverly and Maze in Oklahoma City, what pure pleasure to be able to feel my spirit being uplifted by their music, it truly does not get any better than Frankie Beverly and MAZE. Frankie Beverly a diamond cut above the rest.

  • I'm so glad this band stuck together. It's probably best that they never became a huge act; that kind of fame always seems to divide groups. Egos start getting in the way.

  • @RBCHILD4EV I see that your a lover of music.......just read your detailed bio on that smooth page of yours. Like you said in your comment, the best feeling is chillin with fam and having those great memories. Im 39 but i feel like the music from the 50's 60's and 70's are apart of me. Thanks for responding RBCHILD4EV.....until next time "WE ARE ONE"

  • @hijkl12 damn you old as hell lol yeah everybody born from 1975 and before then are old lol!

  • @Beyoncefan1000 If being born before 1975 mean I didn't have to be born in this generation, I wouldn"t change it for nothing in the world.........I cherish those days as a 70's child growing up in the 80's. You know Beyoncefan, I think every generation thinks their generation is the best, there is nothing wrong with that, I would hope that you can respect the music and the people that came before you. I respect you and yours. With all that being said, "We Are ONE."

  • @hijkl12 I feel u, these kids don't realize all thier digital mess they have now ALL have been sampled by "A GREAT". 70% of these artist today are not original, no live band ect. Auto Tune & all that crap doesn't hold a candle to the artists that were out there really practicing & had talent. Don't get me wrong some now days have talent, but far fetched.

  • @MrsSoFly21 I hear ya loud and clear MrsSoFly21.......just like what you said, they have much talent today, they just have to realize where it came from. I'm sure this generation enjoy their music just as much as we are still enjoying ours.....I just want them to respect what has come before them. Your comment sounds good with Mays playing in the background. We are one.

  • philly soul, nothing like it.

  • ..memories.....great song...Maze Forever

  • ITS FUNNY TO ME HOW BLACKS WANT TO BLAME RAP FOR THE PROBLEMS IN THE COMMUNITY!! BUT THIS IS EVIDENCE THAT IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH RAP BECAUSE THIS WAS IN 1983 WAY BEFORE RAP WAS IN THE WORLD!! BLACKS ARE JUST SOME FAKE ASS FUNNY ASS PEOPLE!!!

  • @truthseeker206 BEAUTIFUL SONG THOUGH!!!

  • I'm an 88 baby and my parents didn't listen to this growing up (strict, so no secular music in the house) however, my soul was made for this type of music. IDK what happened to music, but this is real.

  • If you can sit still while listening to this, there's something wrong with you... sorry.

  • Love this music~ It makes you feel so good just hearing it!

  • Its been many years since seeing them in concert but they always sell out

  • This shit is just smooth :-)

I don't care if you are a 16 year old rapper, you gotta like dis!

  • How do you know when your music is timeless and legendary? When you don't record an album for 30 years and STILL sell out concert halls just playing the stuff you recorded 3 decades ago!

  • Their songs speak to the soul about things we wonder about on a daily basis...I.E. - Why we all take each other for granted and why we can't just be there for each other, etc...MAZE has moved me like none other, thanks to my wonderful Mother for exposing me to them as a youth. I've now seen them 3x in concert, always a great show!

  • 17 heads, ready for this dick to be fed to you bitch ass so called humans

  • This takes me back to old times, when we kids were growing up in the hood and we knew better than to stay out after dark, we knew to respect our parents and elders as we walk down the streets seeing them on their porches.....tilting our heads saying, "hello mother, father"...what happened? But this relaxes me and make we think about good times and appreciate this kind of music.....

  • Hello my name is Beverly and the reason why I love this group so much,I believe that we as a people share that feeling of what is felt in the soul when I hear any of Frankie and Maze's music. January 12 of last year was a very emotional day for me, I heard the passing of Teddy P and the earthquake in Hati,When I heard the song on the radio at that moment I felt hurt and sadness, because I know in my heart that we belong to each other and we all hurt the same.

  • this song gives me a feeling i cant describe it. im sure everyone who leaves a comment is speechless when they hear this that they dont know what to put!!
