Two questions: 1. How much horsepower does this system add? and 2. Does it decrease the fuel economy?

Well, you'll most likely notice your pedal foot getting a bit heavier after installing this exhaust which will negate any fuel benefit, I'm sure. Haha.

Yes, that sound is due to the BOV.
