I met heskett and ross back in like 06 outside of their orlando show. They were really cool and stuff and are definately awesome players. They were definately a major part of wolmother (who else will andrew find to play bass and that bitchin keyboard!?). Using Guns and Roses as an example. The new version of a band is never as good as the original. Even if he has a KFC bucket on his head.

They won't have the feel of the original Wolfmother, the chemistry that they had won't be found anywhere else, you can see even here they're not getting on with use of Body language. The smoothness of Wolfmother was what made Wolfmother amazing.

I completely disagree. Every video I watch it seems like all of the members are playing their own separte shows. They hardly ever communicated, and they acted like they hated each other. It always had an awkward feeling to me. I'm hoping Stockdale will remedy that with the new members.

it's not just performing on stage. Looking at GNR again, everyone had a fair say and did thier bit in the original band. The new GNR was mainly Axl letting everyone doing thier bit, but under his supervision.

Stockdale, Ross and Heskett had all thier own mix in it.

I'm not sure excactly what youre talking about, but the bassist and drummer of Wolfmother left mostly because Scotsdale wanted more of the money from 'Joker and the Theif' sales. Since its appearance on Jackass 2, it made a lot more money in royalties, and since he wrote most of the song, he wanted more cash for it. So the other members got angry and left. But they got a new lineup now, and if you listen to 'Back Round' (which you can get off their site for free), they sound even better.

I think stockdale would be more like Ozzy Osbourne, or Robert Plant. He has a similar singing voice. His guitar playing isn't all too great, but it's damn catchy, and that's all that really matters.
