I've seen that happen with the ID stealing redirects too. Many many times over. The warnings went POOF! The scam auctions stayed up! Also folks have been suspended and/or NARUd for posting things about it.
Not sure what other conclusion can be drawn other than eb is an active participant in crime.
Further, were you aware that eb is actually lobbying AGAINST organized crime bills?
If that doesn't scream "We love profiting from organized crime at the expense of everyone!" I don't know what does
The scams are still listed in eBay Motors but not as easy to find with the new site and search being so screwed up - but they are still there snaring buyers thinking they can buy an extra clean book car at 1/2 of rough book!
It's buyers greed of thinking they are going to get something for next to nothing that keeps the scammers in business.
eBay could stop the phishing and redirects if they wanted too, but they love the fees!
I sort of wonder if that wasn't the entire reason to fill the site with millions of extra listings, bork the search and do away with the highlighted featured items. LOL..
As we all know very well, eb prefers to cover up rather than clean up.
They also have a way of throwing the baby out w the bathwater I notice.
JMO, but that site should be shut down and someone(s) held accountable for every last case of ID theft and scams since that cross scripting flaw was discovered, and ignored.
ebay alone holds culpabilty for every single case.

All they care about is the fees!
Been like that since Ma Meg took over, and she passed the torch to John Donahoe with her instructions.
John even said somewhere that Meg prepared him well for the CEO position!

HAHAHAHA!
come again?
They removed the post but left the scam listing?
Seriously-- these ebaytards need to be shut down and go to prison. Just as much maybe more than the hackers do.
Just unreal
