@EvilRedGoose It's an excellent instrument all around. It was heavier then I normally like, but it was worth it. I found one on ebay just a minute ago for $152.00, and there's a few others over 400 and 500 dollars.
my bandmate plays this bass but its in red same pickguard great bass! but in my opinion i think a peavey patriot is a better bass thats the one i have
there is a comparison video with a rickenbacker 4003. and they are nearly identical in tone. it's so versatile. just snagged one up off of ebay. you're crazy not to give it a try!
Thanks for the request. I love the sound, too, but I can't post more vids because I traded it for some other gear. The T-40 was very large and heavy. I prefer a smaller neck and less weight.
well for one because yes they're rising in value, two they sound unbelievable, thirdly they look so freaking sweet, and fourthly i simply can't understand getting rid of an instrument because it's heavy, especially one as bad ass as the T40
How's the finish on the neck?

@ArmageddonProphet I could do the song, but I don't have the bass anymore. Most people tell me I never should have gotten rid of it. They're RIGHT!.

Congrats buddy, you just figured out how to play a walking bass line!

Sucker weighs a ton; Northern White Ash I think... like a classic Louisville Slugger. This bass is not for whimps!
But it's one of those "best kept secrets." USA made and bullet proof... and you can get one for not much more than some starter basses made in asia.
I'll try and get some better clips of my kid with his t-40 on my page one of these days.

What? Because they're rising in value? Or because you are now going to kill me? What?

Okay, man. You got me. I miss it. But I needed guitar stuff, and I'm no longer playing bass on a regular basis. I got a sweet rare Tele for it!
