  • you know......your wife is the very nicest girl on youtube!

  • is it electric

  • has this plane been discontined? i cant find it anywhere.

  • @swordkirby245 Possibly, this vid was posted back in 2008 :) I could be wrong tho...

  • @johnpdavis ok thanks

  • @swordkirby245 no you can get it at nitrpoplanes still its under beginner and also harborfreight but dont go to banannahobby they are a scam

  • @Robinthepker ok thanks glad to know its not discontinued :)

  • @swordkirby245 no you can get it at nitroplanes but run out of stock quick too

  • @swordkirby245 im not sure but i think its called the hawk sky now

  • and then?

  • the "get this plane" link isnt there.

  • AnD tHeN?

  • awesome plane! the rudder popped off on mine and i guess my dad thought it was unfixable and threw it away :/

  • I got myself one of these planes and i got to say, its awesome, flies great stock and my girlfriend has got the hang of flying it too (she had zero rc experience before flying this). Anyway its getting time to do some minor upgrades to it. At the moment, its all stock and has an 8.4v 1600mah Nimh battery. To change this to a lipo, is it just a straight swap to, say a 7.4v 1300mah lipo or do you have to do some modifications like change the esc etc? Cheers to anyone who replies :)

  • nice plane!!

  • E-sky Flight Simulator :D

  • is this better than the hawk sky?

  • @TheSomeone110 no the hawksky has a little brushless motor and is better powered

  • no good

  • wahooooo

  • This plane is a waste of fucking money

  • how much are wild hawks and were can i get one?

  • my stupid father glued these wings and when we crashed plane wasinstantly in trash (i told him!) :(

  • Lol my girlfriend does that to me all the time "and then? and then? and then?"

  • lol @ 2:04 - " that'll make sense when we do it" *rubs chin*

  • excellent work learnt a hell of a lot in 6minutes you two should become a comic act very funny but also very imformative and the woman in the background well that just topped it off

  • hey dave did you have to put the battery up further in the nose because when i first got it it was unflyable and crashed a whole lot of times.but after that modification i was able to fly it.i got interested in rc planes when i was ten and has been flying since

  • And then..... Actually she's cute, let her fly more!

  • and then? and then? and then?

  • you know. with those shades you look like tom cruise.

  • Woman recording is fucking anoying.

  • and then?

  • hey i love your videos but i was just wondering if you had the rc floater jet plane ?if you do can you make a video

  • i want to buy a rc plane...........can u tell me around how much i would have to spend??

  • @arjavvashi $50-$150

  • @Ceasar1030 suggest me a online store where i can get a RTF aircraft around 50$

  • do you think the wild hawk is better for beginners as the easy star?

  • where else do you fly. or drive your cars because i live in that area and im looking for a nice space to "rc" it.

  • You don't understand aeronautics very well. The plane doesn't see any difference in AIRSPEED across the wings whether it's headed into the wind or flying with the wind. Your GROUNDSPEED is the only thing that has changed.

  • cool plane

  • no and then!

  • this has been the most useful video for tips i have come across. thankyou

  • arent the propeloers a little to small?

  • and then?

  • these things are about 100 euros in germany.

  • @Tefans97 you should get in on ebay then

  • lol "keep ur attitude nice and gental"

  • Nice one Dave

  • how does the simulator help? plz reply

  • @f18hornet1001 just like anything practice gets you better. With a simulator you can practice without having to lose $100+ everytime you crash. Plus it helps you develop your flight orientation which is extremely important when flying these planes.

  • use w i n g s t a y s on this plane

  • i want to buy one but i don't know where i can get one for cheap and ships to Malta !

  • man thats not a wild hawk thts the easy star? am i not right?

  • where do you get all ur parts and planes???

  • @flyingjerry1 Hobby People - Pasadena

  • and then and then and then and then and then and then!

  • @MontagHeidi did you try pushing that button on the side if you watch the video when val flies they have to push that button

  • Could you still learn how to fly one without a simulator? Does it come with one or do you have to buy one?

  • @monkeyman8195

you can learn to fly them without a simulator it is just that its better 2 use a simulator first so that you dont mess up ur plane . simulators come with certain models but u shud ask who ur bying it from it it comes with a simulator

  • @flyingjerry1 ok will do

  • and then. ...and then .....go to zero its forgiving.. great fun video for us beginners!

  • Harbour Freight, Just google wild hawk and look for the harbourfreight link, it will take you right to it.

  • no "and then" !

  • hi i have the newer version of this the ez hawk and i see on the will hawk it only has rudder and elevators however on the ez hawk it has elevators and ailerons would i be better off making the wings solid for the minute and just making it tale controlled as i havnt flown a plane n over 2 years and am struggling to controll it.also would be a good idea to extend the controll surfaces as they are quite small at the min

    thanks

  • oooooo dont go in there!!!!!! crrrrraaaaaap!!!!!

  • I like that plane; looks like a good newby trainer.

  • 0:23 My very first flight with a RC plane was with the Hawk Sky over a dual carriageway at rush-hour! If you think your Wild Hawk is beat up you should see my plane, there is not one part on the plane that does not have at least 4 pieces of duct tape on it, INCLUDING the brushless motor. I'll post a link to a picture on my page.

  • no and then!!!!! lol

  • woohoo! and then! :P

  • "Woo Hoo"!!! And Then???

  • dont taze me bro!

  • excellent video. i got a diff version of the wildhawk and this video had excellent tips for me (a beginner). Thanks for the info.

  • OK. So I first bought the E-Sky simulator ('cause I didn't figure I should spend more on a simulator than the first RC plane I plan to buy). Anyway...I suck!

I can't seem to control ROLL. Any advice?

  • make a launcher

  • is that sim FMS and which version

  • Does it come with the motor and everything else you need to fly it with? Or do I need to buy seperate parts?

  • TWA flight 970 ? wtf ? lol. That makes no sense

  • That's absolutely totally cool!!!

  • Very good...

  • Very good...

  • after my first flight,my plane was too short (you know what i mean)

  • Dave I just have to Add And then!

  • my battery pack is BLUE!

  • @rock12345jd because the new one is upgraded to last 20-30 min. of flight

  • oh damn.... some years ago i killed it at my first flight :/

  • omg i have this exact same one i got it over an year ago and never got a chance to use it.The funny thing is that i am an aviation student at rancho so ya.

How did you get the lights on the wings

  • wow i am surprised of $80

  • Where is Val???

I am writing from France and want to start a fan club for VAL....

BTW-I am R. CRUMBS bro in law and live next door to him.

    Peace,

    A

  • (Don't) kill the football team whit your plane!

  • did she say crap or crab

  • why does this one flt so good the first time i flw i crashed and broke the nose due to not being able to turn

  • its a simple thing to remember when you fly twards you you just turn the oposite way you want to go =) i know daaaa but nice tip for some one =)

  • an then?

  • I suggest thay U'll but a Skyhawk.. Thay are Great for begginers

  • Hey Dave i cant find this wild hawk page on your website. help please

  • '... and then?'

  • never want to fly over something your not afraid to hit @:28.......

  • how fast is that plane when it is not modified

  • not fast enough for me :)

  • is this a good plane for beginners ??????

  • if i wanted to buy replacement parts for that, would i just buy the ones for the easy star???

  • Great landings!!

  • sweet shirt -- Don't tase me bro!

  • ok...i need extra battries for the WILD HAWK. where can i get them?

  • Ok Dave the pressure is on you. I just received my Wild Hawk a couple of days ago. Been into RC Heli's for almost a year and still have a long way to go with them but this is my first plane I have ever owned. Will be flying it this Sun 1/31/10. Hope to have video of the event. LOL First airplane and my first uploaded video on YouTube what a trip.

  • @PonyDriver1974

    howd the flight go?

  • It was alot of fun but wasnt by any means a success. I threw the plane three times and three times it plummeted to the earth. I do believe there to be some issues with the plane besides operator error. Will be working on it this week to see if I can have better luck with it on my days off next week. Sorry no video. :(

  • @PonyDriver1974

it might of been that u threw it upwards insted of streight infront of you. but i duno i wasnt there. i havent had a go with my multiplex easyglider electric i got for xmas

  • you should try the multiplex easystar

  • its wildly (get it? wild-ly) underpowered, notice Daves windometer hanging down -(fly in almost zero wind) the CG is too far aft , the little nimh needs to be jammed as far as possible into the nose, breaking off the little foam wall trying to prevent this- dont try to climb too quick, itll stall - slow climb and slow turns -all this i know, and i only had a couple sweet flights stock, i had to mod it to fly in 18+ MPH wind and not crash, unless i brain farted

  • Ya when I got my first rc b.plane it didn't have elev. Since it was nose heavy I can't pull up so It just nosed into the ground then I said that's it I quit flying rc plane couple yrs later I started to fly a rc plane again.

    =>

  • ...ok...

  • so-- what plane(s) did Mike end up buying? a wildhawk? or?

  • cool- @ 2:47 it went thru the sprinkler water and the sprinkler was blasting- i think im the only wildhawk fan in michigan

  • plane breaks very easily but also easily reparable remember bring the tape and glue

  • how easy is this planes body to break? im kinda thinking about the slope diver because of the plastic body but the wild hawk is easier to fly? plz reply

  • this is bullshit i bought the simulator that he suggests and its nothing like the real thing. the controls are all backwards its just gay wtf

  • U probably just set it up wrong

  • @mattlambert1985

you have to calibrate the control and press backwords on all of them

  • u guys should make a F-4 phantom 2. It should look very easy to fly and review it. Put NO AILERONS to make it even easier. Well put 4 channel. That is the best.

  • Great video and very informative.

It's kinda hard to see , but can it be flown like rather slow?...a bit like the GWS Slow stick?

    Thanks!

    Mario

  • How's the simulator called?

  • haha and then? xD

  • where can i buy a simulator?!

  • @filipe3361 google fms rc simulator and it should be about 20 dollars

  • is it good tho?

  • the fms itself is freeware. The controller is not, though. The Chinese sell it over ebay (ESky something) for cheap (got mine for about $20) and include the latest alpha on cd, but go to the fms website and get the recommended version (about 6 MB). There's a ton of models and landscapes for the fms on the net. Graphics is outdated but it does the job well. If you want eyecandy look for phoenix rc, realflight or aerofly but those are expensive.

  • @Anvilshock You're totally right, however I would like to note that Realflight and Aerofly do give you better realworld-like physics when it comes to flying around. The fms doesn't accurately model wind influence for example, nor do helicopters fly accurately... they are WAY too stable. In real-life you have to constantly correct the heli, .. not in FMS. :p

  • And then?

  • @sterworks drives me nuts

  • got a wild hawk today from harbor freight. 80 clams. Dave talked me into it. never flown one, don't know anyone who does. we'll see how it goes. I'm gonna get a simulator i think. what's the address to a wild hawk forum?

  • since i started watching your videos i always wanted a wild hawk all i have ever flowen is an air hogs stelth plane. i baught the simulator and now im practicing for christmas

  • is this plane nose heavy?

  • woho and then hahahahaha

  • and then !

  • i discovered today my hawk was tail-heavy- i had to stuff the battery pack all the way into the nose (and remove that foam wall to do it) -dont forget to tell all the newbies all planes should be a bit nose heavy- i never knew till i was looking thru a wildhawk blog last night- BTW- i had my first FUN fly today - 2 touch and goes, my hawk was totally predictable and controllable -FUN!!!!!! i now am in like with this hobby- i ordered a 1400mah when i got home tonight (and a smart charger)

  • "dont go in there!!!!!!!!!!ooooohhhhhhhhh carrraapppppp........ " your a lucky fellow she has a musical voice thats a the reason god gave men ears

  • This is a great plane to learn with. I bought it about 4 weeks ago and it has been a great experience. I have since changed out the motor to a brushless and a slightly larger than stock prop. HUGE difference in power.

I am waiting on delivery of the next step up, the 4 chl Hawk Sky.

I got the simulator and it is a HUGE help

  • I gota Easystar

  • whats the best simulator to get for beginers?

  • how much money is it? please post answer on my channel!

  • And then.... lol

  • im in nz i cant find this plane anywhere all rc plane suppliers dont even know the model.....how can i get one

  • the same plane, probably the original, is also made by Multiplex.

  • Can you not buy it off the internet and have it shipped?

  • dude......wheres my plane....... gosh that was lame....nice vid

  • where can i buy this plane, they seem to be out in nitroplanes

  • Harbor freight,com

  • can i trust them, i bought some stuff from bannahobby and that was the worst shit ever, the plane did not even work and i could no even contact them when i tried to call them ,no one picked up...

  • im pretty sure... i am going to order online tonight and i'm pretty confident. its a very prestigious tool catalog. my dad has orderd tools many times. just go to the website and search "wild hawk" in the search bar.

    hope that helped :)

  • they have them again as of Oct 2

  • @mig3535 i just got one at nitro planes

  • @mig3535 its back in stock

  • @mig3535 harbor freight

  • @mig3535 wonder hoby has it for 88 dolas

  • @mig3535 it is out of stock so is the hawk sky

  • @mig3535 check local hobby store i got mine today

  • u guys should get an rc sr-71 blackbird and make a video

  • hey i am from Canada and i wanted to know if u ship planes out here and also i have never flown before and i wanted to know which is more crash resistant on grass the RTF Wild Hawk or the Exceed RC 3-Channel J3 Piper Cub EP. i really appreciate your help

    thank you

    -18002779904-

  • Wild hawk hands down

  • Hey to another canuck

I got one shipped to me a few weeks ago. Cost about 35.00 in shipping

Wild Hawk is a great plane. You will not be disappointed

  • When your flying towards you an old trick is to always move the stick in the same direction that the wing is low. So if the aircraft is flying at you and the left wing is getting low, move the stick to the left. If the right wing is low, move the stick to the right. Easy enough.

  • mike + hawk = ...

  • and then? lol.. its like the Chinese woman off "dude, where my car?" that made me laugh soo bad! TY..

  • it is light

  • and then?

  • Movie: Dude where's my car!

  • Ahh nvm. Saw that u don\t ship to Latvia =/

  • Em dave do you send the planes to other countries too? Like to europe?

  • haha!!

why does she keep on saying "and then?"

  • i bought one and crashed it and the nose fell of and the batery came out and ripped some wires i have been practising on the flight simulator too please help

  • and then?

  • and then?
