I agree, really really cool. It should definitely be a show on TV, these cases are works of art. Custom cars, custom bikes...why not custom cases? "Mawdding" is getting more and more popular, a show would be a success.
I have a question: When you installed the memory, you said that you have to install the RAMs in a double. First and third slot - most motherboards show this principe with the colour of the slots, but here, shouldn't you install the memory in the first and second slot, because of the colour?
Excuse for my mistakes and word order, english is not my native language.
I normally do not use ASUS products, I am an authorized MSI dealer, I happen to use this asus board for the media center items onboard.
I am used to using the MSI products line that does the dual channel in a differnt manner After the boot up which is not part of the video i switched the memory to the other slot. for dual channel
All is well with this machine. Runs fast enough for a media center @ 1930 x 1080
Looks really nice... absolutely love the placement of the switches (I'm definitely going to rip that off for a future project - LOL). I like the 250mm grill but would have much rather been able to look into that beauty. When I put so much work into the inside of a case's appearance I want to be able to gaze upon it's awesomeness ;-p Ric seems to be a nice guy and a lucky man to have Bill and his crew put their magic touch on your rig (which turned out amazing). Gratz
Weird application of the artic silver, I would say if you guys do not see a drop in temps after it sets.. .its more than likely the application of the TIM. Gorgeous case otherwise.
Another thing I have noticed, not a lot of Core 2 parts going into these machine, any reason for that at all?
Ultra cheap rig! My rig owned that, and it was built in '07, and it was still considered mid-high end rig.

the reason probably is that Intel costs a lot more for the speed they want & they are not building top range computers
