  • My Vmax sounds the best. most macho out of any bike in the world.. soon I shall post its video. after market have 198 hp .. sure look for it in near future. Vmax is an awsome ride.

  • this winter im putting a 70 shot of nitrous on my motor. i will be 200hp. btw. stock motor you can safely run a 60 shot of nitrous. just to let you guys know how to get up near the 200 range. and i may even put a supercharger on it also over the winter

  • to theincredibledorian. a stage 7 jet kit does not remove the vboost. the v boost is always on then instead of just 6000 rpm or more. gen 1 maxs are around 113to 117 hp except the 85 max. there around 130. i have a 1260 big bore in mine stage 7 jets 4-1 kerker and some other mods i make around 130.

  • I love the Vmax and want to get a Gen1 Vmax but everywhere says 113hp so how do u get 160hp?

  • not 160hp, not even 145hp, this is the euro model with 100hp.

    still plenty of bike there; a real looker.

  • @nastybastardatlive at the begining of the video you can hear the V-bosst before the motor start, so it's not the 100hp model :p

  • @theincredibledorian right you are! i was just going by the euro license plate. p.s: one of my bikes has a stage 7 kit {v-boost removed}, and it's faster than my stock engined vmax w/the v-boost.

    the guy that said single pipes make more power is right, but those quad-cans do look n sound wicked.

  • there is no way this bike is 160 hp. i dont know if you know about vmax's....4 into 4 exhaust is a cause to lose power on a v-max engine. stock v-max makes 145 in the crank... 115-117 in the wheel. to reach 160 hp..... yau need a big list....i have been there and i know what i am talking about. there is no way to reach 160 with the cv carbs v-max has. you need fcr's

  • With slip on's you may push 115HP from Gen1 VMAX

  • They dont come stock at 145.... good try though. If you get a ringer you may get lucky to get 125-130 at the motor. They are incredible machines, I love my 89.

  • i believe older ones are rated at 130bhp and newer ones are rated at 145bhp stock, thats according to a haynes repair manual

    It does feel like they have that power at the crank.... They are pig heavy but still quick

  • I bet it is 160 hp. They come stock at 145. The new ones are stock at 202. Bad ass machines. Got one with 165 plus.
