I have download it from the website with keys from some people gave me and it only gives me internet identity protection. (I downloaded AVG internet security) Thats what it says on the icon on the tray.
Or, I guess you could only log in to your windows machine using an account with restricted access. Create the user account and deny registry access, access to explorer.exe and a few others, use the Run command available in the Program Manger(?) to open files.. and Run As when needed...

Illegally stealing software by means of pirating. Keygens, cracks and serials are all forms of getting something for free without supporting the company that made the product. If you like AVG buy it, if no one bought a product from AVG there would be no AVG.
I agree with you in theory (also as it applies to media), but there is so much crap available I don't mind grabbing warez on a strictly test and delete bases. Especially if you want to provide the best possible up to date information to your clients without breaking your bank or relying on reviewers some of whom may be taking payment to sell things, as well can't possibly know your exact operating environment.
They share ideas, how the fuck do you think we find out about new viruses and other anti virus programs can detect them? It's called working together!
avast 5 internet secuirty has a bad detection rate.... :(

I would say just skip AVG. Honestly you would do better with Avira free, Avast free or MSE free (microsoft security essentials)
