people have the right to their own opinion. I know for sure that what people are saying have closed their mind off and not actually gave any thought to it. I'm going to be honest, this ministry didn't save my life, but they showed me God's Word and showed me how God's Word speaks for itself. God's Word saved my life, and I am more than blessed and thankful for the ministry on showing me how to read the Word. The teachings I hear in this ministry are better than any church i've beeen to.

I was in the Way over 7 years and now I am so glad I'm not know. I leave it up to God what is ahead of me and rejoice in him even if things don't go my way.

I am here with you hunny...I am 36 years old in the Way and let me tell you...whenever I am feeling a bit lost these things make me cry too. I do not think anyone has authority or responsibility to say if someone else is a Christian, or not. Please share a scriptural reference or at least a certificate from the "We are the only true Christians" organization to which you belong. If you are using the "theory" of a trinity, I ask you to show that word, or concept in the bible...ANY bible. Son of God is used over 200 times but God the Son???? Z E R O !!!!!!!

The way congregation, even though they have meetings with the bible, from their suspicious behavior, can not be called Christians. I thought these issues happened specifically in Africa where we witnessed severe immorality, fraud, suicide, murderer, greed; they were focused in knowing the word of God than apply it in their life. Two of sisters got pregnant there and were depressed. People around believed they were all possessed through their books. Praise God my sisters walked away from there.

Everyone has free-will choice to do and think what he may. The greatest thing that God gave man is free-will. If in excersizing our free-will we bring harm to others, then it is our fault, not anyone else. Many of those who have done wrong to others will always say it is someone else at fault. To give 14% and neglect your family needs is his fault, not The Way. The Way does teach to give but also teaches a man is responsible for his family physical and spiritual needs.

MsCurious, sorry to hear about your experience. Seeing what you wrote about your ex-husband is disturbing. Anyone who considers themself a "man of God" because they give 10-14% while neglecting their family is wrong. Obviously he thought that giving determined his spiritual walk, when in fact, it is your love for God and His people that determines who you are spiritually in your walk with God. But, you cannot blame The Way or any other organization for what a person thinks or does.

While married to my ex for 14yrs I was involved. When I decided that spousal neglect, hungry children, were not for me, and decided to leave- i was told I was EVIL for divorcing a 'man of God' who gave 10-14% of his weekly income to this organization, at the expense of his family who lived below poverty levels and had to depend on the kindness of friends and family to survive.

Ha that is a lie,prison is full of athiests,about 99.9% are athiests,the christian population is almost non existent.What does happen is allot of bibles are distributed in the prison system,and these so called athiests allot of them pick up the bible for the first time and find solace and liberty to change their lives.

Once you lose God and His Word, you lose it all. When it becomes about the organization, and membership, and attendance at meetings, and NOT about learning and studying God's Word and serving others in love, that's where it goes down hill. Some of this messed up stuff may have actually happened, who knows. Either way, there are plenty of faithful believers still out there. If it wasn't for Dr. Weirwille and his heart for God's people, many of us wouldn't be living as born again ones today.

I guess anyone can say anything about any organization and some will believe it. I have been going for 30 years and never once heard about this stuff. The bigger the lie, the easier it is to believe. Most people that complain and write this stuff about the Way International are the ones who have been asked to leave because of their own abusive behavior towards others. if you really want to know about The Way International, go see for yourself and then make your own conclusions.

My precious brother was a member of the way international for 30 years. We lost him to suicide on December 4, 2006. If you know anyone involved in this organization, please do all you can to get them out. He lost his family, his income and ultimately, his life because of his devotion to false teachings.

Where did you get your figures from? I know from personal experience that atheists respect rational thought and logical argument and that would promote an atmosphere of stronger moral values. Christians can't compete with that.

This is pretty sad, My family attends a Way fellowship and its awesome. I've been going for 14 years and have never seen this happen. Whatever happened to you, I hope you can overcome it and move on. Most of the stuff I've read is so outdated, and is in no way anything like the loving peaceful people I know. This is like putting stories about Catholic priests and coming to the conclusion that everyone in that church is like that. I know many great Christians and they go to other churches.
