Im doing organology outlines on different instruments and i chose the djembe to be one of them. Im doing a three part model on this video (sound, behavior, conception)

thats very interesting. I haven't gotten you the information I said I would. Give me a few more days. I can say though that this is a bit of a hybrid piece but it is certainly based on a traditional rhythm.

These people are actually from various ethnic groups. I'm not sure what each of them are but Siaka Doumbia is Malinke and Kalifa Kone is Bobo. I will find out the origin of the song itself and let you know. Can you tell me more about your project?
