@inorbit30 Good Grief was released in 1994, RATM were already starting to get big then. Prior to that, UDS' sound was much closer to Fishbone and old RHCP. Not dissing them though, UDS are great, and one of the originals, but they are not *the* original by any means.

My first album, man ...didnt see that clip back in 89 ! I think would have lost my mind! Ice-T in this vid, Henry Rollins, who I didn't know back than. To me than, 14 year who had listended to hiphop for a few years, this was amazing, a rockband with a DJ using "hiphop" samples/cuts.

And without UDS RATM never became popular (I think even a band like RHCP has to pay).
