I'll never forget discovering alllllll those Rhodies on the Blue Ridge Parkway. My girlfriend had me pull over on the Blue Ridge to use the camping bathroom. As I was waiting for her on the highway I discovered I was in front of a Rhododenddron. I couldn't believe there was one growing waaaay up there! Of course I gradually realized there were thousands upon thousands of Rhodies for miles on end up there!! They were EVERYwhere! I'd love to see them in bloom during Spring! WOW! Surreal!!
