blodstainer is right man, Slayer's best album is Show no Mercy. It's technicality and melody shows far greater structure and imagination than reign in blood. R.I.B. is a good album but it isn't their best album, let alone a real good thrash album. more like a Darker and Brutal version of Wehrmacht. S.N.M. has a more real and catchier feel. the solos are also not rushed and crammed into a hectic piece, but executed with supreme skill. Also, Araya's vocals where at their prime in Show no Mercy.
