  • Awesome turtorial<3 I'm currently making my bows for my SM cosplay following this, although I'm not quite sure how you attached the finall small peice? The one that hides the string and binds the two bow pieces together. Also, this might be a dumb question but its my first time sewing. Whats the best way to attach the finished bow to the cosplay?

  • @MinTako With the final small piece you can hand sew it, or wrap it round the middle where the string is and stitch it (with difficulty) using the sewing machine. Or you can measure round the middle where the string is and machine stitch the small piece into a loop that would fit and then, with some difficulty, pull bow and trail through the loop till it sits in the middle.

  • @MinTako

To attach to the cosplay I use poppers. Though they have other names. And you can attach one half to the small piece that wraps around the middle of the bow and one to the cosplay and it should hold.

  • Alrighty, thank you very much x3 I'll give it a try, so I give my thanks to you that my bows turned out so nice xD

  • great bow

  • Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!

  • thats very cool and mazing!!

  • great work!! How much fabric did you have to get?

  • Depends how long you want the bow trails to be. If that's longer than the width of the material you're looking to get then, then you'll have to get the length of the trail.

On average you shouldn't need more than a metre

Measurements for the pieces will be up soon. *scatterbrained* XD
