I saw a video of Lucy talking about not wanting to play Xena again. "it was a great show for it's time, the 90's, but it's time to move on." Lucy is in her 40's now. Renee is directing and writing shows now. As much as I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see these two together again as Xena and Gabrielle, I think if they allowed the characters to solidify the subtext and rumors that they are lovers, it would be over for all of us as fans and angsters. :::sigh::: oh well.

Uhm...they're totally together. They're amazons. Amazons loved one another, mated with men only to breed, and kept the girls and gave the boys back to the men - they simply didn't need men other than for breeding purposes - which quite frankly I can't blame them. This show was awesome. There are tons of little hints which finally culminated in at least two kisses (maybe more?). Either way, this show rocked.
