(Part 2) Such is the power of the rumourmill & loose gossip on the internet, mixed with inappropriate translation & people/organizations with hidden agendas & ulterior motives.
McMillan was freed after 9 months in Prison (on remand) & 6 months in the psychiatric ward.He was never convicted & has NO police record. The media frenzy around his arrest was shamefull & the newspapers/internet/grapevine were rife with falsehoods, downright lies & feeble attempts to make certain "individuals" garner more attention & look less "incompetent". Apparently, he NEVER admitted to rape as this was never the issue in the first place, yet it was reported as such. (Part 1)
Wackenier/Mcmillan was a duel national who spent time in the UK I don't know if he stayed in Belgium or returned to Britain or if indeed he's still in prison... I last Saw him in 1997 on a seacat crossing from ramsgate to ostend when he was travelling with a woman...I used to practice speaking dutch with him as he was bilingual and I'd lived in Holland... I had no idea he was capable of such acts..
@ComaLies225 I have to be honest with you. I've heard some of Thee Plague of Gentlemen. No matter how much I hear it the only thing I think of is the image of that guy raping those poor kids. They're much better off as Serpentcult, although it's sad that Michelle left the band. That was the one thing that made it somewhat unique.
@PaxTemplarium1991 His name was Steve MacMillan, also known as Steve Wackenier. He was arrested on Tuesday, July 11th, 2006 on 11 counts of child rape. He confessed to four counts of rape of children between 5 and 7 years of age and took obscene pictures of them. He was later sentenced for indecent exposure but not rape. The rest of the band, then known as Thee Plague of Gentlemen, chose to disassociate with him and formed a band based on the tentative title of their second album: SerpentCult.

I like the vocals and it sounds promising. Glad the band decided to keep moving and get rid of that kiddie rapist they had for a vocalist.
