  • This trailer sure made a big twist about thirty seconds in. When watching this for the first time, one would have thought that it was going to be a fantasy adventure about a young prince who was turned into a frog. 0:32 and suddenly secret agent.... What?

  • I have this movie but it broke

  • I enjoyed this as a kid, shame there's no DVD release. I'm sure I have my old VHS somewhere up in the loft

  • A narration by Darth Vader himself! Impressive!

  • What does FRO7 even mean?

  • @mac19971 It spells out "frog". The seven represents the letter "G" which is the seventh letter in the alphabet.

  • @keithims Like Frog 007?

  • @mac19971 Yeah something like that.

  • Delight children of all ages. In a way >: )

  • I watched this movie on VHS and i still keep the VHS record.. i will never ever trash it.. or sell it either.

I recommend this movie to all 4-5 year olds.. its one of the best cartoons that survived today...

  • HOLY MOTHER OF JESUS!!! Finally after search for years I found this movie. FINALLY!!!

  • anyone know where i can dowload this movie? no sites i have been on have it and i love it. used to watch it all the time as a kid

  • Look's like a good adventure for Benny Leo and Johnny to do.

  • Well... at least this movie has traditional art... UNLIKE TODAY'S MOVIES!

  • This was my favorite movie as a kid! Well, my favorite Non-disney movie! :) Oh the 90's! Let's bring em back eh?

  • I have never seen this movie!

  • FlashbackFlashbackFlashbackFlashbackFlashbackFlashbackFlashbackFlashbackFlashbackFlashbackFlashback.....

  • man i loved this movie as a kid

  • Lmao. "I'm not a frog im a Prince!"

And "Freddy! Give me drugs anyday!"

  • One the greatest movies of my childhood!!

  • i used to get so confused like

one moent it was like a fantasy opening..then modern day

  • 'Give me drugs any day!'

    She really said that? O_o

But what is interesting is supposedly the first animated feature ever made was Freddie The Frog, before it was destroyed in a fire. I had no idea they remade it in 1992.

  • no it was

    give me frogs anyday

  • Oh good! :)

  • I think she actually said "give me frogs any day!" That's what it sounded like to me at least.

  • @ZeniJocasta

Okay, thank you. That makes more sense :D

  • Does anyone have the russian version of it? I loved the english version!

  • Comment removed

  • Can anyone upload the french version ? please please please

  • Even though the movie itself is good the trailer makes it look so confusing, oh look evil aunt, WAIT SUPER AGENT FROG AND WHATS THIS BIG FAT EVIL PAVAROTI.....

  • best movie of all time

  • Good Lord, this film looks confused. It seems like they had about fifteen different plot concepts and couldn't decide on one, so they just tried to do them all at the same time. o_O

  • watch it, and it all comes together

  • This movie is just great! One of my favorite animations! I have the French version on VHS :D

  • Oh my gosh! xD I love this movie! I just watched it yesterday after so long. I forgot how much I enjoyed that movie.

  • whaddaya know! he has the same name as me, finally i found a hero that is named Freddie

  • I worked on this film, Hollywood Road Films was a great place to work! We did start making the sequal Freddie goes to Washington which had a better story line, its a shame FR07 was such a disaster at the cinema....cos we were all suddenly out of work!

  • Wow, the last and only time I ever saw this movie was in theaters. Kinda cool you brought back up again.

  • I remember this from so long ago. I was nearly 4. I'm surprised I remembered it.

  • Please, if there's anyone who knows where i can find a torrent file for this movie or its soundtracks, help me. Thanks.

  • Sadly, there's nowhere you can find a torrent of this movie last time I checked.

On lighter news, you can pick up the soundtrack on CD or cassette on websites such as Amazon Marketplace or eBay (it's out of print), and the original uncut movie is coming soon!

  • Does anyone knows the ending song from movie by Holly Johnson ? Hearable from 0:45

  • It's called "F.R.O.7".

  • Actually, it was renamed that in the US cut. The uncut version names this simply as "End Title Song".

  • I remember watching this movie. Although I wasn't happy that he never turned back into his original human self.

  • i loved the film! i never knew it flopped in the UK area.that kept me wondering will there ever be a 2nd.until i found there accutally was but was cancelled cause of the movie being a flop in the area.

  • I absolutely adored this film as a kid-I used to watch it over and over. I'm so disappointed it flopped. I mean, sure, it's not like a Disney movie, but it's good fun with great music and a great message-an oddball outcast hero who succeeds simply being himself. A lot of kids loved it, and the closure of a talented British animation studio because of its failure was really tragic.

I've also been looking everywhere for somewhere to see this again.Happy to hear some of the songs will be uploaded!

  • The snake was my favorite. I wish I knew what she was singing in her musical number. I couldn't understand her at all.

  • I wish someone would upload some of the songs! - "Shy girl" ^^

  • Good news! In the near future, I'm planning to upload some clips from this movie (including the song you just mentioned!). Hope this is exciting news for all you Freddie fans out there!

  • 'Freddie as F.R.0.7' was entirely made in London at Hollywood Road studio in 1990-92. There were plans to do two sequels, 'Freddie goes to Washington' and 'Freddie goes to Moscow' but since this first Freddie movie was unsuccessful, the studio closed for good and those two sequels never saw the light of the day. I have it on VHS, but it should be absolutely released on DVD, with a making-of featurette, audio comments from people who worked on it, artwork (sketches, backgrounds, storyboards) etc.

  • me too ^^

  • aww!

i was in lovee with this movie when i was little.

id forgotten about it and decided to look it up.

now i want to watch it.

  • I love this movie but it's a shame it got bad reviews. I think the reason why is, the film dosen't give you enough details. For example Freddie has magical powers and his aunt turned him into a frog. Why can't he change himself back to a prince? In my opion to see this film you have to imagine, you know make up for what is not shown in the film. I'm thinking that in freddies family when you turn someone into something with your powers that person stays that way. Anyway it's a good kids movie.

  • thats something they should have shown in this movie Freddy turning back into his human self.

  • Meh, I don't think so. It would have ruined the whole message of the movie. Besides, he didn't really care; he was happy the way he was.

  • well i guess your ight but they could have turn him into a human but they have him turn back into a frog because wanted stay like that.

  • who can not love this? if i had it on dvd i would post it up =)

  • i remember this movie from when i was 7 or 8 we rented it right before we took a long trip to ginne springs and i watched it on the way there !it brings bak so many memories!

  • Interesting movie. A terrible shame it isn't released on DVD.

  • i know! i wish i could contact them to say that they should put it out on dvd

  • I do wish some one would upload this to youtube :(. It's a brilliant movie. I think of this film and Freddie everytime I to go France lol.

  • I'm sorry, it was the ending song of the Ranma 1/2 movie. But yeah, this movie was the best! I still watch it in my spare time. :D

  • I remember renting this like all the time when I was little and I remember hearing the opening song from Ranma 1/2 movie Big Trouble in Nekonron China and it was such an awesome song!

  • i loved this as a kid, that tune freddie whistles in the beginging was something i always wanted to hear agian, wish i could find this some were
