Mandibular Anterior Tooth Moving Appliance

i had a baby tooth that was in way to long! so the permanant tooth came in above it, its not poking out of my mouth but its farther up than the rest of my teeth.

my friend had the same thing and he had to have a surgical chain put in thats supposed to pull the tooth down while hes got his braces on,

can anyone tell me what that surgery is called? or the chain???

um...is it okay if ur retainer is bent up only a fraction out of place??? like about half a millimeter,im kinda worried that ill have to go back to brace..PLEASE REPLY!!!!

If your retainer gets distorted or bent it can usually be adjusted back into the correct position by your dentist. If it gets lost or destroyed(watch out for the dog) you should get a new one as soon as possible, as your teeth will tend to migrate back to where they started.
