  • I was on this ship on that day, it was a suprise trip for our daughters 18th..... Will be back on her in September........ fantastic ship, I love NCL, been on the Gem and the Jade, and going back on the Jade in December................

  • I HIGHLY recommend the Ice Bar! It's truly something you guys want to see!

  • @MitchFisch12

Hey Man, This ship is sooo EPIC! I didn't go on the waterslides unfortunately, but I can tell you that the crowds were not bad at all... You'll have a GR8 cruise though!

  • This mother is a grand size of 153,000 gross tons. By far one of THE largest cruise ships, just behind the RCI Freedom-class ships in size. BIG ship.

  • @ecoRfan have u been on this ship how long were the lines for the water slides

  • @MitchFisch12 No I haven't been on any NCL, but I own the so-called "Cruise industry bible" by Douglas Ward, that's where I got the information from.

  • I'll post a video of the alarm...

  • I'm going on her this Saturday! I'll post some Videos... Can't Wait!

  • @rmeyer845 so u probably liked the ship how long were the lines for the water slides im going on it in april im really excited (:

  • She is such a beautiful ship. I really want to go on her. There seems like a lot of stuff to do on that ship. Including water slides, which are so much fun.

    Awesome Video!

  • Beautiful video. Thank you for sharing!

  • Awesome Video!

  • Awesome Video!

  • Awesome Video, by any chance, do you know what ship was doing their muster drill at 1:58 ?

  • @NYelevators Glad you like it!

Actually it was the "Norwegian Epic" that announced the drill with the ship's horn and internal alarm.

  • @5deheld I loved it! Are you sure that was the Norwegian Epic's alarm and not another ship, like 100% sure? By the way, you should listen to the external alarms on Royal Caribbean's Freedom Class ships (Freedom of the Seas, Liberty of the Seas, and Independence of the Seas. They are the loudes alarms that I have ever heard on an exterior and interior of a ship.

Awesome Video! I loved the video! I really did! Awesome Video!

  • @NYelevators It definitely was the Norwegian Epic's alarm. The volume of the horn and alarm were not that impressive for a ship this size! Thanks for your suggestions.

  • @5deheld Are you into the cruise shup alarms too? If you are, that is, so cool!

  • @5deheld Awesome Video! I loved it! Also, watch a video of either Freedom of the Seas, Liberty of the Seas, or Independence of the Seas doing their muster drill. They are the loudest alarms I ever heard.

I love the video! Awesome Video!

  • @5deheld Also, you should add muster drill to you're video tags, because a lot of people love the muster drill alarms on ships. So you should add these tags.

    muster drill

    lifeboat drill

    Awesome Video!

  • @NYelevators I have added the tags. Thank you for indicating this, I was not aware people are searching for those drills.

  • @5deheld Thanks.

Once again, I love, the video!

  • What an interesting looking ship...not pretty, but interesting.

  • This ship is ugly!

  • i went on that ship on September 4-11 2010. IT was amazing!! I stood in awe when i go to the port of Miami!

  • i just left on it yesterday i miss it

  • It's literally a hotel parked on top of a boat, look at the size of the thing, also its ugly

  • i just got on that ship on june 21 2010 in NY!!!

  • @laurenmncutt33

The "Norwegian Epic" made her inaugural call to the Port of New York on July 2, 2010.

  • going in 2 1/2 weeks

  • ZeroGal5

no comments yet?! great vid! thanks for posting it for us!

  • @ZeroGal5 Thank you for your reaction. It's really incredible a ship this size showing up in the city centre; practically at your doorstep!

  • @5deheld no problem! she must've been taller than most of the buildings there! i couldn't imagine a ship of that size in the Detroit River here in Michigan. but i guess i'll get to see this amazing ship for my self in February. :)

  • going on Dec 2010 cant wait
