  • Hi! I'm Donna Reed on Google. At first, I came to YouTube to figure out how to make my hair look like what I thought it should. I'd been natural for many years and never really got it. I finally began to find people with fine hair like myself and realized that in order for things to work, I should concentrate on the health of my hair and embrace the hair that I have. It's fine, but its mine. Since then, my hair has been healthier and I have been so much happier! Thanks for everything!

  • Hi, I subscribed to your channel and followed you on Google friend connect (Michelle).

I have embraced my hair by learning how to care for it with what works for me. I now incorporate ayurvedic treatments (henna, vatika oil, and zizyphus) to assist with strengthening and protecting my hair.

Hope to win this book :-)

  • I have medium/fine hair and I have come to absolutely love it. I didn't always feel that way b/c of society's views about natural hair. Even when I was relaxed, I wanted thicker hair. Although my hair was damaged for years b/c of relaxers and abuse, I didn't go natural until my hair was so damaged and thinned out. It was not until the end of 2009 that I started to learn about natural hair and now I have a passion for helping others with their journey.

  • I have coarse, thich 4b/c hair! I have grew to love it and embrace it, with all of its challenges! Through a variety of knowledgeable outlets such as your channel and various other youtube channels, I've learned how to properly care for my hair! My google friend connect name is :beautyasdesigned and I thank you for helping women like me, learn to appreciate OUR natural hair!

  • I have embraced my 4c fine and thin hair by loving it just the way it is and not trying to get on every band wagon that promises thick and fast growing hair. I have learn to style my hair and learn to listen diligently to what my hair needs and I can see the positive results and now have fewer bad hair days. My google friend connect name is the same as my yt name. Ur channel has inspired me to grow my hair out and loving its every stage.

  • My name is wladytray on ur blog as well...I learned to embrace that though I loved to fro my hair my hair HATED IT! As a kid I loved the afro and hated the very day my mom put the haircrack in it. I have learned that protecting my hair is key to acheiving the length goal I want . ANd that moisture is my friend and shrinkage just adds to my versatility. I embrace ALL kinks & curls, updos and MY FRO on occasion. I LOVE MY HAIR and I embrace it ALL.I have fewer bad hair days now :0)

  • I've embraced the versitility of my kinky mane. I can wear it how I please and still look chic.

  • I've embraced my hair quite by necessity and accident . After I was diagnosed with a skin disorder, and told by a dermatologist to leave the chemicals alone, I had already planned to keep my 4b-4c hair shaved off to avoid trying to tame the tightness. But, when I grew tired of my wearing my hair in a way that didn't fit my face, I decided to go on a journey of learning what I could about it. I never ( in my 30+ yrs.) knew my coil pattern, or how much I would love caring for my cottony coif.

  • I've embraced my hair by learning to actually pay attention to what it responds to-- rather than just doing whatever I feel like I want to do to it! Simple changes like realizing that braids are better for me than twists, and that larger braids/twists are better for me than small ones have really helped my hair to thrive, and I've learned to style my hair in ways where I can still feel good about how I look. My Google Friend Connect name is Nefertiti. Thanks for this giveaway!

  • I have embraced my natural hair and given up covering my hair all the time. I had Aloepicia for a number of years. The last two years, I began a path to have healthier hair, through treatments from the dermatologist and more holistic methods of regrowing my hair. I accept the texture of my hair and have been forced to be creative with styling and properly looking after my hair. I'm thankful to have hair where there were bald spots just a few years ago!!! My blog name is Funkystarkitty50

  • I've embraced the fact that my hair has a mind of it's own. At first it would drive me crazy. One day I could style it and it would look great. The next day I would try the same thing and it would look like a hot mess. So a puff would be the solution. It's mind and I luv it kinks and all. "Google Friend Connect" name is Charlene Jenkins.

  • I am embracing the fact that my hair's needs may change as a result of hair growth or changes in the weather. It makes me happy that I am learning so much about my hair because I can now properly care for it. The thing I thought I would hate the most about my kinky hair is actually what Really love about my hair..... Shrinkage of up to 75% of its actual length. I call it magic hair... LOL! I'm just loving my natural hair! Love your channel! Keep the videos coming!

  • I am loving the various textures in my hair and learning how to define them all. Type 4 ABC. Yea, got to love it!

  • I've learned to embrace my hair by realizing how much potential for growth and versatility. Before, my hair was so flat and had no body. Now that I have learned to properly maintain and understand my curl pattern.

My Google Connect name is Erica O...(I don't want to spell out my full last name on YT)

  • I am loving my 4c type texer hair by keep it naural .by using my PH blance and moisturiser

  • I am loving my 4c type texer hair by keep it naural .by using my PH blance and moisturiser

  • I've embraced my hair in many ways, but I will only list a few.

I no longer watch other people's journey REALLY envy their sometimes miraculous growth progress. I do what works for me, and AM so much more happier with myself and my hair.

I am no longer searching for that perfect gel and/or product that produces shine like my relaxed hair was. I am content and happier now.

Not all hair days will be good ones, so I put a part in the middle or side and put in a pony and still feel pretty!

  • I am loving my natural hair but I would love to find or make my own products. I don't have money for products right now. But I need more knowledge on products to use without buying every natural products out there! Thanks for sharing! Stay blessed!

  • I have embraced my hair by removing all chemical products. I really just let it do what it do. i dont; cover my hair with weaves anymore. The best care that i have given my hair is to wear it out and let the sun and fresh air hit it.
