Back in the 80s I was heavily into Bauhaus, A Certain Ratio, Joy Division, The Cure, Soiuxsie et al.. but never heard about The Soft Boys until now. Man, what a great, creative, gorgeous band! So sad I've never heard them back in the day!

I was a teen in the 80's and listened to Psychedelic, Punk, etc, and I remember liking Robyn Hitchcock and the Egyptian...so how come I never heard of this great band he was in?!! Glad I saw it on Wikipedia. I was starting to feel like an old fart lately but listening to this is making me feel better!

@leesawford -i was comparing them with Oasis's ability to nick whole grooves off of other peoples songs and make them their own(i'd like to teach the world to sing). This one is more than blatant tho. It's Donovan's lick completely. Whether intentional is another matter...I do like it tho.
