It sounds like "Remember the Maine," from 1898, which "caused" the Spanish-American War. Spain never wanted to fight us, but we forced it on them. Not much has changed in over 100 years.

Yes exactly. It's a simple plan using the Hegelian principle or dialect. You take a synthesis(Eventual solution) that is already calculated and ready to act upon and then decide how you're going to get it accepted by the people. U then create a thesis(most likely false flag but not exclusively) and the anti-thesis(Propagate its dangers and exploit it in the media as a threat to all mankind) that will develop the type of feeling in society that they must sacrifice freedom for protection
