@zeyn10 think of the muscles you are using when you skate. quads,hammies, hip flexors, core(abs,erector spinea) arms... etc.. all these Dynamic stretches are better than none but pretty much cover the whole body as its preparing you for running.... in which you use the whole body. i hope that helps....

It's true that static stretches lower the amount of weight you can lift while working out, as it breaks down the muscle BEFORE lifting whereas you normally want lifting to be the force that does this. Good to see Howcast does their research.
