  • @zeyn10 think of the muscles you are using when you skate. quads,hammies, hip flexors, core(abs,erector spinea) arms... etc.. all these Dynamic stretches are better than none but pretty much cover the whole body as its preparing you for running.... in which you use the whole body. i hope that helps....

  • I do this every morning and some people look at me funny at the trails. But then I end up passing them and staying longer and going harder. I even noticed some people copying the stretches now. Out of alot of warm-ups, this one has worked best. I also put in some different things in there because I run up hill.

  • It's true that static stretches lower the amount of weight you can lift while working out, as it breaks down the muscle BEFORE lifting whereas you normally want lifting to be the force that does this. Good to see Howcast does their research.
