If I could make a suggestion, Greg, you should really consider swearing off relationships for 1 year. If you meet the "woman of your dreams", she will gladly wait for the 1 year. You need time to focus on yourself and your problems and any post-trauma you have. You need to discover yourself before you can try to know another person.
I think an actual break from relationships would be helpful for you, last time you said you wanted a break and two days later you were with your ex. I'm 28 years old. I've been in 4 accidents. The most recent one was about 4 weeks ago. I can honestly say, I did not cause any of them. I'm an excellent driver. The last accident I was in was actually witnessed by a police officer. Someone ran a stop sign and hit me. My car is totaled. You sure do like to jump to conclusions, don't you?

I just think you are invested in the things that are great but you don't make the relationship transparent. Knowing fully who they are before moving in together. Time to just date them before being 100% theirs. Dating is meant to find out more about that person and if they have the important stuff down then you move on to relationship.
