  • "The oven is fast enough for me thank you."

  • Major Boothroyd better known as Q in the films, was only an armorer he suggested that 007 replace his .25 cal Beretta with a Walther PPK after the Beretta w/scilencer got caught in his waistband. Q-lab did provide him with equipment, bu mostly regular equipment and cyanide capsules.

  • Read the Ian Fleming novels. Felming tried to put as very little gadgets as possible. The Aston Martin in Goldfinger only had a hidden gun, reinforced bumpers, and headlights that changed colors and Bond only uses one of those things. And most of the times, the gadets weren't even Bond's. Kirim Bey had a cane rifle he ised to kill a spy, Le Chifre's car had the spikes he used to disable Bond's Bentley. M had a bullet proof glass he used to prevent 007 from killing him.

  • Hi, this is an excellent view, but it is definitely not optimal. A Few Things I observed which works actually much better is in roulettecash#org.

  • Scottish and English people look physically different to me.the English have a pale skin while Scottish people skin is kind of tan like Craig Freguson's one.

  • This is so TRUE!! That's what I thought when I watched it!!

  • Gadgets are shitty and unrealistic.

  • @JamesBondFan001 Some of them are. In films like "Die another day" they simply took the whole gadgets idea too far. But still the newer films would benefit from atleast a few gadgets, it's one of the key points to a Bond film. Even the first films in the 60's had them.

  • @OliverBond96 Yeah, you're right. I loved the explosive breifcase and the credit card key, but some of them just take the piss.

  • @JamesBondFan001

Since when did Bond come realistic? you fail

  • @JamesBondFan001 Since when has James Bond ever been realistic? The world of James Bond is supposed to a bit exaggerated and unrealistic gadgets are part of that exaggeration.

  • @valiare1947

    Ian Flemming

he was a spy in ww2 and decided to write stories after he retired from the war

  • @valiare1947 The original novels and early movies were realistic. Then they got to laser watches and space-bases and it all got a bit weird :P

  • Sean Connery so Scottish he lives in Spain. Kind of like Craig, so Scottish he lives in USA. Pattern here? *strokes cat*

  • @gymnosophy so.....im scottish and live in asia

  • @seonidh tbh if I had the choice between Asia and scotland it would be asia

  • @gymnosophy it does have its charms, weather, food, money and friendly people a bit like how an american might feel about europe with all its cultures

  • @seonidh I never speak for others

  • i think CBS needs to publicise The Late Late Show more

  • A James Bond withou gadgets is fine. Ian Flemings books did not feature Bond as reliant upon gadgets. His wits and his own abilities were the most important things he could carry with him. Dr.No did not feature gadgets either.

  • Wish I got American TV.

This man is amazing. Charismatic, funny and entertaining.

And we got Johnathan Ross in Uk.... yeah.

  • @thelexus hes not american so thats why you love him lol

  • @wdfeo I personally like him because for the most part he's clean, and when he does naughty things it's mostly innuendo and lets people think whatever he wants to think. I'd much rather see him in late night than Letterman, Leno or to a point Conan.

  • hey, guys check out my channel, im sure u will like it ;)

good vid btw! keep it up :)

  • Comment removed

  • @vikingfan16 Bond is supposed to be unrealistic! I dont think the new movies are bad, but i think they have removed quite a lot of the Bond atmosphere in them. (The gadets, the music, the slick comments, etc)

  • @tobiassitt slick comments? music?? you think david arnold is taking away from the series? the franchise is moving on and its not what it used to be i think the redefined bond is a lot better

  • @vikingfan16 im not saying that i dont like David Arnold, all i say is that he have moved away from the traditional Bond music and made something else, something which i feel takes a bit away from the overall Bond feel. When it comes to the "slick comments" you have got to aggree that you Daniel Craig is not the guy who elecrocutes a guy in a bathtub, only to walk away and say "Shocking, positively shocking".

  • @tobiassitt Vesper:"I'm the money." Bond:"Every penny of it." This wasn't slick enough for ya?

  • @vikingfan16 all i say is that its too little of it, and they are closer to a standard action movie than to a Bond-movie. There are certain things that makes a Bond movie a Bond movie, and not a Jason Bourne movie.

  • This guy looks like Al Pacino

  • I wonder if he still doesn't have a microwave, now with this wife of his around. I bet he's changed his ways, hahaha.

  • "I'm getting behind this fellow" Oh, Craig.

  • I dont use gadgets outside the bedroom, A-Tankyao.

  • This dude is frikken hilarious!!! i happen to like the new bond movies, but this still made my day lol thumbs up if u agree

  • In my microwave it takes 5 minutes. Seven minutes if you fix two. Now that's witchcraft.

  • hes so true doh.... gadget scene is the best part for me too XD

  • Guitar without strings...

  • Craig is very philosophical sometimes. American "I want it now" attitude is unhealthy and detrimental.

  • Q is definately my favourite character in the classic films. not even moneypenny can top him

  • ...Is it still a BAKED potato if you microwave it?

  • @cipher619 NO, it's a microwaved potato.

  • @kirk85kirk Lol Thats what I thought too XD

  • it went from james bond... to baked potatoes..... thats just fine with me

  • ALSO A BOMD WITHOUT A ACTOR

  • Gadgets are lame. Rather see Bond use his brain. Just like in the books.

  • I love the bond without gadgets!

  • Craig needs a microwave gadget that only looks like a microwave but cooks like an oven

  • sean connery FTW

  • and he's very concerned.

  • Pierce Brosnan is best Bond and we need him back

  • @akashsuresh1994 Sean Connery and Roger Moore were the best james bonds. Sorry to break your heart, Pierce Brosnan was FIRED from being james bond.

  • We need Pierce Brosnan as James Bond with his gadgets.Craig sucks

  • Why is it Craig, that you are not the Tonight Show host? It seems like a painfully obvious choice for them, if they actually want the best late night show. You're almost as funny as me !

  • FANTASTIC! "pay attention 007...this is a pen"

  • Craigs bond was merely made to conform to the non fans and it worked, in the books bond lost his parents in an accident and was brought in, he wasn't a war vet, bodybuilder, boring pos like craigs one was.

Bond is meant to be fun, i'm tired of beeping reality tv, grittiness everywhere i look, what happened to variety and fun, sure bond shouldn't be completely unserious but not serious to the point it's not bond anymore, craig needs to leave (awaits flames or your not a bond fan or crap :P)

  • @wesker100000000 wasn't Craig closer to Fleming's original bond?

  • @tacamo21

No, in terms of how the character looked brosnan fitted it, craigs bond was more of a deviation then the previous ones that some complain about (not me), hell if they want to be even more realistic bond shouldn't even be here anymore due to his liver problems, craig is more like jason bourne then bond, bond didn't kill unless he had to, in short i'll never accept craig he's a good actor but he doesn't fit bond any shape or form, he makes bond boring and unwatchable to me.

  • Yes exactly he is much closer too the novels hes more believable as a bond

  • Spot on new bond isn't bond.

  • technically they had one in casino royal and quantam of solace

he had that portable defibrillator and a bomb on a keychain

  • I agree with him: the most interesting part of Jame Bond's films are the gadgets.

  • technically they had one, he had that thing that rebooted his heart

  • the reason it has no gadgets is because daniel craig is the young james bond so sean connery is the future so hes going to have high tech gadgets,

  • @morphius44 wich means the future of technology by your anaolgy is stuff from 1962

  • Craig Ferguson > other late night talkshows

  • Sean Connery > Daniel Craig

    Sean Connery > Chuck Norris

  • i'd give craig a chance if i could find a movie that he acted in. The problem is that he doesn't act. He walks around and says a few lines, but there's no acting involved. his bond has about as much emotion as a rock. Of course it doesn't help that the writers for the last two movies sucked or that they took out every last thing that made bond bond(such as gadgets) so that now he's just a watered down jason bourne.

  • @JustThink00

Have you ever seen "Layer Cake"?

  • Greetings from Bolivia.

    This guy is great!!

  • A Bond without gadgets is like a man without penis !!

  • oh shut the fuck up the gadgets get really stupid at least Craig films are more realastic

  • @TheButtkisser I think the Bonds with the most gadgets were compensating for something

  • @stfwho what his dick

  • @kennedyzilla100 Well think about it, Sean Connery, the best Bond of them all, used much fewer gadgets than the rest, except for the newest guy. He's a manly bastard, is he not? Roger Moore had some incredibly wild wacky gadgets, so I donno, he seems like he's a wimpy Bong, which he totally is. Timothy Dalton used some gadgets, and Pierce Brosnan, who's no where near a bad ass kind of guy, used the most gadgets that did the awesomest things, he had an invisible car and a laser watch lol

  • @stfwho Bond**** =/

  • @stfwho Which took it to far.Invisible car,ridiculous!

  • @TheButtkisser i dont think the current bond has a penis though...

  • @TheButtkisser itsn't that a girl LoL

  • @TheButtkisser A women?

  • @TheButtkisser Bond and gadgets fit together like the pants of a man with five penises..... Like a glove

  • "Sometimes I'll throw a potato in a conventional oven, even if I dont want one. Cause by the time its done...who knows?"

    Mitch Hedberg (Paraphrased)

  • Mitch was awesome. R.I.P. Mitch

  • well the microwave oven is banned in many countrys for a reason..anyway the new bond sucks.. he has no "suit style".. they might aswell call it mission impossible 4 etc..

  • 3 minute baked potato? That's 2 minutes and 57 seconds to long!

  • lol...

  • I think it is witchcraf - I could get through life without a 3minute potato - yes sir ! haaaaaaaaaaaa

  • The oven is fast enough for me. Thank you.

  • this guys funny all the time wish i could see more show

  • Malinky2Stoatir - so watch them=)

  • There has been a history of good/bad Bonds...here's my list:

Sean Connery-still the best. Had the machismo in the fight scenes.

    George Lazenby-No. Just no.

    Roger Moore-undeniable charm.

Timothy Dalton-Hell naw. You could tell he was uncomfortable in the role and didn't enjoy the part. The franchise nearly died.

Pierce Brosnan-excellent choice. Should have gotten the role back in the 80's to begin with.

Daniel Craig-just wants to be Bond. His character needs tweaking to resemble the legend.

  • Sean Connery and Roger Moore are the best of the best. George and Timothy are okay choices. Brosnan should stay being as a watch and perfume model. Daniel Craig is just a Jackie Chan with a very good double.

  • LMAO! You've got to be kidding me! Sean Connery DEFINED that what is James Bond.

  • i think brosnan did a great role for bond, personally my favorite, i hink they used dalton first so they could get used to the new bond look hence they look similar, but brosnan BLEW dalton outta the water

  • But do ya not think brosan films very cheesy...im not the biggest fan of craig but at least his films are somewhat "cool"

  • i didnt think they were cheesy per say,i thought there was alot more humor in them then in the rest, for example in golden eye he comes down from the air vents into the facility while the russian guard is taking a crap and then punches him in the face LOL i loved it

  • Yeah I agree... I like him I think the writers aren't the best... Pierce KILLED me. He's such a little man...

  • Well my list would be something like..

Sean Connery - the old bond movies, he did it perfect.

Pierce Brosnan- In the "new ones"...

The new bond doesnt really do it for me :S

  • the new bond is like ... a dumb supermodel. he just does these gay bond poses but has no real character himself...

i mean...why does he do what he does? what does he believe in? what are his morals?

is he a robot or a human?

  • @Aro2220 do me a favor Retire from you

tube. You have no Idea want your talking

about I choose not to even explain.Your

    a waste!

  • DR NO anyone

  • djsmoothie...you're weird. Who cares if you think he has small hands, especially when that's not true.

  • Connery ruled, Moore had his own style ... gave Bond a distiguished style and humor. Brosnan surely was not a great Bond. Lazenby was underestimated. Dalton played Bond like Bond was intended, the way Craig plays him now. Though, mean, angry. I like Craig.

  • 'the oven is fast enough for me, thank you' lol this guy is hilarious!

  • i havent seen this in a year

  • no it's different, it is you who are not smart enough to laugh at his jokes.

    Jokes.

  • Youll be happy 2 no that there will be gadgets some time in the future, Daniel Graig said that the writers would like to ease Q branch and moneypenny into the story and explain where they came from

  • Witchcraft!

  • craig is the only late night host ill watch cuz hes one of the only people who writes his own monolouges and his monolouges are way funnier than Jay Leno's were, and they are currently funnier than Conan, Letterman and especially that Prick Jimmy Fallon.

  • craig needs to be the richest man ever he gets more funny every time he gets his pay check

  • "I need a baked potato NOW! That's all I got is three minutes!"

    FUCKING HILARIOUS

  • Craig is a good Bond, but personally, I like Brosnan. But yeah... wheres the gadgets... or everything James Bond... Everyone Knows james bond, on how he introduce himself, on how Q instructs him on New gadgets, on what he does and everything and I still want to see it even if I did know what he will do and thats what I want him to do because he is James Bond. The last installment is a Jason Bourne 007 movie..

  • gadgets are james bonds thing thats his image too

  • let ur mama buy u some gadgets .

we wanna see some real action .

    daniel craig rocks!

  • The Bond films have always been (past tense) the ultimate action/adventure films that we looked forward to seeing every couple of years. Thats what made them Bond films - not gritty realistic violence which we here about in this dreadful world of ours - we go and see 007 to be entertained and taken away from the hum drum of reality. All of the Bond actors (even Lazenby) have been excellent. But Craig has turned these movies into violent trash. Quantum of Solace is by far the worst of all - pity.

  • What made them Bond films is action/adventure. That's it? You sure there wasn't some kind of style to them that were interesting. Just action.... Sad. Also, complaining about the films being violent, is silly. Its the worst complaint I've ever heard in my life.

Although, Quantum may not have been great, its better than shit like Die Another Day, or Brosnan's last three in general. Its still better than the laugh fest Diamonds are Forever, and is better than Moore's last two....

  • ur wrong dude extremely wrong .

thats how people loved bond , a realistic secret agent who shows violence thats how we like it ... u can ask and search wich bond movie is the best from all these 22 films , and ull find casino royale dude.

  • its not craig, its the producers and writers

QOS was still a good film for what it was but by far is totally different than all other bonds

  • whtever mr. nostalgia

  • outside me cook with fire inside they cook with magic. fire good magic bad

  • microwaves is witchcraft xD!

  • Craig is my favorite comedian... he is such a thrill... love his Scotish accent :) Poor lad he hasn't a thing....ha

  • Well the good thing is Craig seems to frequently defer from his planned script. His random rants are usually the funniest parts.

  • Yeah, he's a great improviser.

  • I love that he put microwaves in the witchcraft category. lol

  • Pay attention 007 this is a pen.....

Yes I see, does it shoot deadly gas?

Uh, no...but you could write an angry letter to your enemy.

  • funny as hell

  • I wonder why someone like Vil308 would take the time to post the exact same negative comment on a bunch of Craigs videos. Its almost like hes trolling for... oh yeah right.

  • Craig's not gay is he?

  • Harvey, do your homework before you post a comment you homophobic twat.

  • i'm not homophobic i was just asking i didnt think he was but everyone i asked said he was.....

  • he just got married (to a girl lol)

  • no gadgets = better

  • This is a typical statement of a person who clearly don't know what the Bond-franchise is all about. Nothing personal at all here, but "no gadgets = better" is pure ignorance. People who don't like the 20 Bond-movies (there is only 20 in my opinion) likes the two last so-called "Bond-movies" with Daniel Criag...conclusion "Casino Royale" and "Quantum of Solace" is NOT Bond-movies. It's as simple as that. Wake up people, don't buy this bullshit any more. Boycott Craig as Bond please!!!

  • He's contradicting himself. In his stand up special on Comedy Central, he actually refers to Daniel Craig as a "gay dolphin."

  • .......omg...who cares

  • i don't care, i'm just point something out

  • ....so no one cares....was the answer.

  • craig does look like a russian spy.

  • lol oh i just love the way Craig speaks his mind.

  • So so true...casting Daniel Craig as Bond was the biggest mistake in cinema history if you ask me, I mean he looks like a Russian spy for god sake and he his, let's face it, a B-actor clearly...I can't agree more with Craig here, but the missing gadgets aren't the biggest problem, Daniel Craig is. PLEASE don't let him destroy the bond-franchise any more...fire his ass and hire Christian Bale for the job. He is one of the best actors around these days and he's British..what more do i have to say!

  • Daniel Craig is not a bad Bond actually, I personally like him better then the previous Bonds. lol altho he does look russian which doesn't work for the movie. I do agree that Christian bale would be better but only b/c of the way he looks. Craig is still a pretty good actor.

  • I can't understand why people think Daniel Crag is good as Bond, I just can't! It's just not that he's the worst Bond ever (Brosnan is the best I believe), he could very well be one of the worst actors ever, I'm not kidding. He's not capable of handling A-material and therefore I think it's really sad that he attempts to. Christian Bale is one of my favorite actors of all time. He is excellent to handle any A-material movies and especially action movies and I'm happy somebody agrees on this...

  • Craig is not the best looking guy but his acting skills are in good shape. Watch the film "Munich" and he'll show you some A-material acting. However, my view may be biased i'm a really big Bale fan, I loved him in American Pyscho and the Prestige.

  • FYI I have seen Munich (a very good movie by the way) and I'm not THAT impressed by Craig's performance in it I must say. He does a B-roll with B-material script and acting and he does it pretty well. And this proves my point even more. When he's doing a B-roll in a movie he's doing OK, I have to give him that. But when he attempts to step up and be the leading man in a movie, it stinks, it just does. He doesn't have that extra thing that can make him great as an A-actor, I'm sorry...

  • This actually fits well on Quantum of solace. Unfortunately.

Love Daniel Craig (as an actor!), but this was a disapointing movie.

  • voice is VERY jarring.....

  • ahahahaha "witchcraft"

  • I personaly find his accent more funny than the show. XD

  • the last few james bond have been complete bullshit, i like daniel craig as bond..but ffs movies are meant to be entertaining..none of this "oh lets be like jason bourne" fuck off

  • Bourne wannabe...I couldn't have said it better myself. Daniel Craig is not Bond. The last two movies have been nothing but bullshit. I'm glad that someone agrees with me on this matter. One question though; when you say "the last few james bond", are you suggesting that Brosnan did a poor job as Bond too? If so, that I don't agree on. He's the best Bond in my opinion. He's funny, arrogant and give great one-liners (= a true Bond performance) and a 10 times better actor then Craig will ever be.

  • i meant the last two movies with Craig, i loved Brosnan i loved his one liners, i'm not saying Craig is a bad bond i think they have just taken some bad direction over the past two movies..people who say the old bonds are crap are complete morons...if they are so crap why did they make 20 of them? i feel like the last two were just a cash in to take advantage of the bourne movies...which is terrible to say cause bond was here way before bourne.

  • I couldn't agree with you more on this matter!

But I do think Craig still is a bad actor and a bad Bond. He's just not an A-actor, you know. He is an OK supporting actor, no doubt about that, but he just can't give an major A-performance (like James Bond). He should stick to his small rolls which he's good at.

By the way, which Bond-move is your favorite one? Mine is Goldeneye or perhaps Goldfinger.

  • i'd have to say Goldfinger (ba ba waaaa) and the spy who loved me..i know alot of people didn't like roger moore..but i thought he did pretty well.

  • I like Roger Moore too...I like all the five (not including Craig of course) Bond-actors in different ways for different reasons.

  • even george lazenby? lol

  • yes I think so at least...some consider him being the best Bond, I don't, but some do...they have all unique little things of there own that makes them special and different as Bond (except Craig of course...he's just awful, just horrible to watch).

I heard what Roger Moore thinks about Craig as Bond. He said that he's a killer and have no charm. He didn't say it, but I think he hates Craig as Bond, as am I. Craig is more like a Russian assassin.

  • exactly he is just a killer..no charm or wit at all

  • but thats the point, at the end of Casino Royale Vesper ,his love gets killed, and he has to find the person responsible. at the end of the film he fits perfectly into the Connery bond films.

from the first second to the end is a massive character arc. he starts of naive to the job of being a "00" agent.

  • the ending of casino royale was that final scene...i read an interview with the film makers where they said "we had to establish the character of james bond" you don't gotta establish anything its james bond...if people wanna know who he is they can go watch the 22 films about him.
