  • Great Guitar!! One for sale on ebay!!! "Silvertone Paul Stanley Kiss Signature Electric Guitar"

Google it or copy and paste the text into ebay :)

  • this guy ain't brand friendly,

  • This episode was filmed before a live bathroom audience.

  • witch pixel is Paul Stanley

  • When Paul Stanley smashes a cheap guitar, he needs it to be good enough quality to get him through the song first...

  • @eekleefeld he doesnt play the guitar he smashes watch any vid..he goes off stage and gets the cheap one which has a breakaway neck..

  • thumbs up if u have ur silvertone guitar or bass in ur hand and ur jaw droped

  • That Silvertone Apocalypse guitar did'nt really work out did it ? I think Paul used that guitar on 1 tour then i havnt seen him holding it since :) I prefer Pauls classic Ibanez Iceman. I used to have one but although Paul plays it really well I couldn't get comfy with it, It was a little bulky for me. I play a Charvel/Jackson now It's small & light but still resonates really well and i've got a Seymour Duncan Invader in it on an active circuit aswell so it's got a lot of bite.

  • Gonna buy one of these tomorrow Apocalypse

  • my setneck silvertone apocalypse is modified, I Modified it with an EVH Wolfgang bridge pickup,The handmade Custom pickup Designed by Eddie Van Halen himself the pickups are handmade in Corona, California by Fender's legendary custom shop,It took over 80 prototypes in the development process before Eddie approved these pickups,They are balanced and able to deliver balls-out overdrive and sustain

I have also added bourns low fiction pots, it plays and sounds KILLER!

  • Got a PSAP2, had it (and only it) for 5 years now. First guitar I have ever picked up. I wouldn't really recommend it for beginners because of the shape. If you sit with it, it rests uncomfortably on your leg. Standing is difficult because the pegs are in stupid locations and in a resting position the neck drops as far as you'll let it. On the plus side, it sounds incredible. I bash the fuck out of mine and it very rarely goes out of tune. Besides the mentioned downsides it's an amazing guitar

  • you get a charge outta charging people 4000.00 to 6000.00 too right? whatta dick.

  • i am a silvertone artist

  • i wonder why the deal paul had with silvertone went under? the only signature guitar of his that can stand up to this is hishigh end washburns, the 2000 and 2200. i wish silvertone would bring these guitars back

  • silvertone makes rlly good guitars there les paul copy is greatt

  • I Have the Apocalypse

  • Silvertone made classic guitars back in the day that still stand up to some of the best guitars today. They make cheaper models for people who don't have the money to spend $400 on a hobby that might fade in a month now. If I ever get serious about music, I would definitely become a Silvertone artist, and I'd love to have a signature model bass.

  • I love this sooo much, I own the guitar at 0:22 and its the best guitar I've ever had!

  • ....so why doesn't he plug it in and play it?

  • @kissFAN1619 I have the SILVERTONE PAUL STANLEY SOVEREIGN PSSN2. It was the one he was selling on tour for $5000 in 2003. I have the one peice like the neck isnt bolted on. I havent had any problems with it at all. Stays in tune you can bend and everything never goes out of tune. The sound is amazing, I have had it since I bought it in 2003. They did make a knock off version its is a Sovereign PSSN1 they was around $150 to $200. But ba quality with those guitars. You get what you pay for.

  • hes a bit too arrogant/cocky...

  • You wanted the best, you got the best, the hottest band in the world KISS!!!!!!

  • I've got the Silvertone Soverign and it looks good, sounds hood and plays good! I don't see why people have an issue with it? It's a good guitar for a good price!

  • I have Silvertone Paul Stanley Sovereign it is so awesome.

  • is he saying that the difference between the speicals and the pro is a bolt on neck? because they also have differnt pickups!? could someone please either PM me in depth the details on the differences or leave a comment on them, thanks

  • @blackghost1094 that is pretty much the only difference, except the pro models can be bought in the Cracked Mirror finish.

  • @slurp8

He had a BC Rich strat which looked awfully like a Jackson back in the late 80's. Check out the video "Kiss 1988 Lick it Up".

  • i love mine wouldnt trade it for the world

  • From what I read recently was that Paul's stage models were hand made and upwards of $4-6 K...something tells me that he wouldn't walk into a store pick one of these off the shelf and hit the stage with it. Not like you could with his newer line Washburns or his older Ibanez models

  • I have one of the USA 6K Stage models and I have to tell you that is a tone beast. It smokes his Ibanez and Washburns.

  • @colbymercury what ibanez does he play?

  • @blackghost1094 The Iceman PS10 in the past. I am sure he will go back to them sometime after he leaves Washburn.

  • I have a stage model USA Apocalypse cracked mirror guitar. It is the best guitar that I have ever played. Built like a tank, but I rarely play it. It is way too pretty to play.

  • i strongle disagree with you REDie2009! i actually own one of the appocolypse specials and i couldnt be happier. love the sound love the look and having a piece of history is priceless!

  • the reason he likely endorsed them is because they where pretty much the beggining of the electric guitar the've been around since the 60's

  • ...i saw Kiss in the 80s, i was so disappointed, they were rubbish!! Proper plodding dull turgid shit!! Bit like Oasis now, fuckin boring plodding shite!!

  • ive seen paul play his silvertones live, addmittitly not as much as other ones, but ive seen him playing them on several of my KISS videos

  • Good God.... In this video he plays a B.C. Rich, an Ibanez, A gibson Explorer, and a Gibson Flying V. Where is the Silvertone that he stands behind and that is an awesome guitar. What a JACKASS.

  • KISS was my favorite band growing up. I still love ACE. Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons are sellout bullshitters. When the hell have you ever seen Paul Stanley play a Silvertone guitar? Only when he is trying to sell them. Hell the video on this advertisement is from the early 80's and it looks like he has a B.C. Rich or something then. I hate it when musicians try to endorse trash that they won't even play themselves and try to convonce people how great it is.

  • I have on some of the newer KISS videos, but honestly, I didn't like the tone he had with them. I have a body from that lower line PS Silvertone, and put on an Ibanez prototype neck and threw in a single coil on the neck and a humbucker in the bridge...that fucker screams now....I have no idea what it sounded like before.

  • @MadMatt105 Actually he played Silvertone on stage from 2003-2006. He didn't play the crappy Indo/korean models, he played the USA custom shop models on stage. They only made 20 USA custom shop guitars of each model and you had to know someone to get one. They were around $6000 a pop. But I agree with you on most of the things you say.

  • @MadMatt105 how can it be from the 80s if god gave rock and roll to you wasnt recorded till 1992.

  • @tokoat983 I'm talking about when he is jumping around in spandex and wears "body glove" clothes and fingerless gloves. That was from the Crazy Nights days. Mid- 80's.

  • The vintage ones are great, but the new ones are pure shit. They sound terrible.

  • really? i'm getting one anyway.

  • does this mean silvertones r good

  • No. It does not. I have no idea why Paul endorsed that brand. They're made of what looks like chipboard, and screws strip - yes, even with metal threads - and the hardware is just awful.

If you're sensible, stay away! If you're looking for cheap, good quality guitars, go for Westfield. They're better quality than this POS Chinese brand, cheaper too.

  • Finally someone realizes these guitars are not all that good! They are cheap peices of CRAP!

  • dude I totaly agree with you because I had friends who started playing with shitty-tones guitar And one day i was going to put new pickups on it we opend up the guitar,,,,, Ofcourse the wiring of the guitar was done very shitty and fucks with sound,,, so then were like fuck it buy a better guitar So we go to a guitar center and found a really nice Ltd for cheapp and it did make him a better guitar player and he sound a lot better too,,, The point is The guitar is very cheaply quality matters!!!!

  • dude hold on now I have a silvertone its actualy prty decent. I shred prty damn well on it but the sound might be a little gritty but I bought a pod so yeah its still good.

  • Oh, yeah, man - there's no question that these are really good beginner guitars. It's just that there's so much better out there.

I mean, hell, I've only had one... maybe I got a bad one or something. The Citation, which I had, is looking nice these days - they redesigned the appearance I think, to look more like a Strat. Mine looked like it was designed by Stevie Wonder :P

Although, this is just one man's opinion. If you love the guitar, love it. Each to their own, man :)

  • I own the Sovereign Pro Silvertone guitar. I have both Epi and Gibson Les Pauls, plus a Dean Hardtail. The Sovereign Pro is every bit as good as any of them...and cost a lot less. It is really a great axe!

  • I have the sovereign pro and it kicks ass

check out my vid to see it

thanks for the awesome vid :D

  • kiss are the great band in the earth

  • they kiss ass i mean kick ass

  • KISS ROCKS
