    -- have you thought about solar + fuel cell or bioreactors - power(run time) is the biggest problem with modern robotics

  • meh, I am pretty sure they are still working on things much more essential than power source... I mean,... They're trying to totally reinvent the field of robotics here... Bio-mimickry is the way to go for sure, but it also raises/creates a great number of additional problems not normally addressed by the current robotics industry... Mainly, skin. (protection) Leaving a robot so exposed is like going out in public naked..

    So while its a good idea, they're not quite there... Bigger fish...
