I cant Install Crysis patch 1.2!

when I do I get the following error message:

Patch 1.2 was dissapointing. It messed up the back tires of some trucks. Maybe your problem is a bad download. re download it and try again.

no it is not a bad download. I just downloaded 4 Crysis patch 1.2 and the error message came on all of them! then I downloaded patch 1.1 and another error message came but it didn't say the same thing...

save you saved games in another location and uninstall then reinstall the game.

Then install the 1.2 patch directly.

yah if u go to options u can set gun inertia to 0 and it doesn't bob, i think it's much easier to aim that way

I had a XTX 8800gt ultra and a Q6600 intel quad core CPU and 4gb of ddr2 ram and the XFX nForce 780i-SH9 Motherboard and just as I was assembling my rig i spilt my morning coffee and it doesnt work ..... i took 3 years to save up for this .. i am very upset>:-(

i know a site explaining PCIe stuff, and i learned that the biggest is 16x, i've compared the entrance size of the card in a picture and mine PCIe size either.. but i still have my doubts about this PCIe 2.0.. :]

2.0 is backwards compatable with 1.0 like my board has, so doubt no more about that. the new 790i...maybe 780i nvidia chipset has pci-e 2.0

it's just that the gt is the new core and the gtx is now overpriced. I am about to get a second gt but I can already do crysis on everything high with 2xAA at 1680x1050 on just one gt. I have a buddy with a gtx on a system identical to mine up to even the soundcard and he get's 10 less fps on average, and he is moving to a gt as well and selling his gtx on ebay

768MB

the gt is the new g92 core that supports pci-e 2.0, and I have one and it get's 12,000 in 3dmark06 while the gtx on my system get's 11, trust me I know what I am talking about. I found that the 768 helps in crazy resolutions higher than 1920x1200, yes the price dropped but you would benefit for the less power hungry gt(single slot too)otherwise, you would need to buy a new power supply.

don't get a gtx....waste of money( the new gt matches the performance of the gtx for 200 bucks less. and get a second gig of ram. oh and see if you can get your cpu to 2.2 GHz or so

I can do even better....I now have an 8800gt that I run all high + 2x AA at 1680x1050 and I am averaging 35 fps

with shadows on medium, I average 45

so yes the gt is an awesome card(bout to get another)
