@Jazz57O They gave Jazz a different name because they had to find a way to phase him out. Shortly after the movie, Jazz's voice actor died. So they could've replaced him with someone that sounds like him(which would've been hard) or phase the character out altogether. They chose the latter. Although the character does continue to show up in the japanese Headmasters series.

I know that this is going to be an unpopular opinion, but I honestly think that the third season of this show was better than the previous two.

My reason being is that as the focus of the show shifted away from Earth and towards outer space, the show could really flex it's musles in being a bigger and more interesting story.

The introduction of the Quintessons brought a new dynamic between the various groups in the show.

Plus, I actually liked the new characters introduced here.

Timeline: The Transformers movie in summer of 1986 came before this. Also, before the movie - the episode 65 called "Bot" showing "Defensor" and how "Swindle" of the Combaticons takes the rest of the other Combaticons apart. Megatron was pissed!

Iv'e said it Before and I'll say it again; if they were smart they'd let Astrotrain have the energon since he's the only Decepticon Big enough while Transformed into a Space Shuttle and a Train to carry enough energon to the rest of the Decepticons

And to Cyclonus; Screw Galvatron, he's a Psycho and no where near on Par with Megatron. Cuz at least ol' Megz Cared enough about his troops to prioritize who got the Energon among other things

In hindsight, they should have made a Season 3 or at least a four part storyline like "More Then Meets The Eye" that would have bridged the first two seasons and The Movie instead of just fast forwarding to 2005 and introduce all these new characters with no back story or true intro. They could have set the story in 1995 and tied up the original strings (i.e. carly and spike, birth of daniel) and explained how Rodimus, Magnus, Kup etc. came to be on Earth.

The episodes are messed up. This episode is 66. In season 2, the episode B.O.T. is 65. he was missing a episode, so it kind of got mixed up. but at least we get to watch the episodes though.

I remember thinking how crazy it was that Prime & others died but it never bothered me like Ive heard it did others. And I loved the fucker. Thats the shit that makes story telling epic. It brought the whole Transformer world to another level for me.

I do remember thinking who the fuck were these new transformers were & when I saw some of the originals I'd be like 'I know him!"

But the movie rocked. I loved it then & I love it now.
