  • HP is putting Mac "Donalds " in it´s place, the lap of my kids. Finally!

  • Comment removed

  • Good job they can review your comments about how stupid u are, and that your the only loser that uses avid media composer with broadcasting. And every loser that says macs are overpriced has probably owned atleast 2 laptops in the past 4 years cuz pc's are shit. And if your to broke to afford a Mac that's fine get what u can don't try to down another product cuz u cant afford.

  • U probably don't know what a damn control surface is too busy editing with ur keyboard what a loser.

  • @Digitalanarchee

I know what control surfaces are asshole. You are going to be the star of my next video you queer.

  • Ur such a loser I just saw u on one of ur earlier videos ur a little punk kid I forgive you, I don't know any better, if I were to have a real interface to work on u would know I saw that bull shit u have at ur house, my Davinci Resolve with my 3 cinema display monitors with my Mac pro shits on u, my Davinci set up probably costs more than your house get a life u punk kid.

  • The thing about u is ur not only a liar that's full of shit, u actually believe it if u has so many hours u wouldn't have time to do ur wack ass channel get a life I have worked on big budgets and am chief executive editor in my line of work, broadcast huh that probably means u were for the news station where u don't know anything lol in broadcasting u wouldn't use avid u would use newscutter. Ur so lame u probably googled something to make u sound smart I hope ur viewers see ur full of shit.

  • You probably think after effects is a standard in compositing too but it's not, people with real money get better programs we use, flame, or smoke, not after effects that's for losers who use premier pro cuz they can only afford to download the master collection via torrent cuz they don't buy shit your dam generation makes me sick.

  • Comment removed

  • And stop telling everyone about the industry, lol, the industry that ur not a part of and no everyone we don't edit using premier, what a dumb ass, let me let u know little kid, in the big leagues we use avid, something you wouldn't know about final cut pro is the alternative, avid is the standard. So nobody is going towards premier, and u would be really stupid to compare pro x vs 7 let me solve the mystery one is 300 dollars and the other is over 1000 dollars it's not supposed to be an upgrad

  • @Digitalanarchee

Listen Asshole. I never said I worked in film you queer. I worked in TV production. You now what wee used to edit asshole? We used an Avid Media Composer. I bet have more hours on an Avid than you and more programs that actually were broadcast than you. Put that in your pipe and smoke it queer boy : )

  • Your stupid ass probably things that it's real hd you view on YouTube too, what a loser, you'll never get it.

  • Ur a dumb ass cuz ur the only loser that actually makes comments on his own videos and first of all in your house your a Cornball I'm not talking about making weekend movies of the kids. Little guy I edit in the big leagues not for hobby, that's why I said your opinion doesn't matter cuz ur trivial editing u do is funny. And dumb ass final cut pro x isn't a disaster some people probably like u are so stubborn with old shit u can't witness evolution the old systems cater toward the old crowd, ev

  • I think anyone who thinks any pc is superior in video editing is a dumb ass I have been working in film for 23 years and have yet to see a pc, in any office I have worked in. Nobody uses pc's for a reason unless ur broke as hell and can't afford a better computer, u wouldn't understand unless you out a true test to the computers to understand the stability of a mac. Unless u have over 200 terabytes of hours your working on non stop with over 13 editors at onetime working with over 100 gigs of

  • @Digitalanarchee

You do see PCs in post production houses you pathetic asshole. And with the FCP X disaster you will see even more : )

  • @Digitalanarchee Macs are over priced pieces of shit. The price vs performance is just.. funny.

  • Wow i think scopeless and adobePC are retarded!! I FUCKING MAKE VIDEOS!!! all i care is that it has 12 cores and has 4gb or Ram memory ~ thats all i fucking care about so who the fuck cares... your all stupid?!?!? ~

  • I just quit out on a long long debate with scopeless on another video. Started with me making a joke and him jumping into defence for macs. He is just a fanboy, you'll never be able to convince him, he's too thick to be reasonable. You should start to ignore him, 'cause if yousay some things about mac,he'll only go for the once he has a counter-agrument for and leave what is too sensitive for mac-fanboys to talk about. He'l just go on and on, prob cause the only thing in life is defending apple

  • I am a Mac user. I learned a little bit here. And, I like how Mac builds their internals. I enjoyed very much peeking inside a Mac mini. But. . . dude, you don't have to be an asshole back you him. I can understand what's going on and where things are in a Mac pro if I peek around, and figure out how easy it is to swap and replace and all that. It's cool to slam retards like scopeless, I admit he's a bit behind, but don't be an asshole back man. Really.

    Happy Computing.

  • the HP Z800 & Z400 (400 is the single cpu version) are standard ATX however the Dell T5500 is a BTX form factor and uses some proprietary (as always with dell) build quality of the dell leaves a lot to be desired imo. we see probably 5,000 of both in a month come through for systems integration where I work. and we have a large fail rate on the dells, however when the hp fail it seams to be bigger issues like mobo, dells are bad com or lpt ports etc..

  • the riser card on the mac pro is basically the whole motherboard, meaning 90% of the hardware on that card is needed for a complete system. sc0pl355 is wrong because the riser card IS his whole system. my $130 dollar motherboard that failed due to overclocking is being fixed FOR FREE, and has a free lifetime warranty. so the point that apple has the best customer care is pointless, because i didn't have to pay anything for the warranty nor for repairs.

  • THe XServe is no longer sold by Apple as of 1/31/11. I wish I could build a Mac, I love OS X & thats why I have a Mac Pro because I want a powerful OS X box.

  • @PlopDropvideos

I am well aware of that. I only used it in the video to show why riser cards are needed for rackmounted servers.

  • @PlopDropvideos Build a hackintosh. That way you'll be of Apple restrictions, and you can put the components you really want. Of course it's a bit of a struggle, but many OS X lover who haters of Apple's restrictions say it's worth it. There's a video on Techzilla that could get you started.

  • @MrMobilePerformance LOL I'm a tech I know how to build a hackintosh, but there for people who can't afford a Mac Pro.

  • @PlopDropvideos I think you could have a hackintosh with the same specs as a Mac Pro for a substantially lower price OR you could have one with better specs and more options for the same price as a Mac Pro. Anyway, it's up to you how you decide to spend your. Good luck with whatever you're gong to do.

  • @PlopDropvideos I run a solid hackintosh, stable and as a custom built PC beats the pants off performance vs price of the Mac Pro.

  • @tylerwylie

That is so true. You can build a Xeon based workstation with better specs for much less than Apple charges for the Mac Pro. A lot of people tell me I should switch to OS X and build a Hackintosh. I always let them now Windows Works just fine but for those who need OS X the Hackintosh makes sense.

  • @adobePC It's come a long way since you can pick all the components, and there are websites that'll tell you how stable it is and what to expect. I've got a PC with a Xeon X3440(insane bang for buck, cheaper than i7s) with 8GB of RAM and an Nvidia GTS 250 and it cost me like 750 bucks to build, and according to "OS X benchmarks" including geekbench and xbench beats the pants off the entry level Mac Pro. Plus expandability and customizability of a PC(given OS X drivers exist for your bits)

  • I agree w/ adobepc. sc0pl355 is js just a smug ass Mac user who knows nothing about computers.

  • 3D animations, not images per se as in like a TIFF or RAW camera photo lol.

  • @KeibearsProperty

The HP Z800 video might be 3D animation but it is an accurate layout of the Z800. The hard drives do not mount on the motherboard like the Mac Pro. It does not use a dual motherboard architecture with a tray that pulls out. The HP does not need hard drive sledes either.

  • There's not much you can about this video. I guess "slam dunk" sums it up.

  • love the ownage at 13 minute mark.

  • I was gonna build my new system around an 870 i7 but since Sandy Bridge is here and the i5 2500K kills the 950 i7 pretty much I think I'll go with that. Or does anyone know something I don't lol. I know some of the encoding results may not be 100% the results they show but I still hear overall Sandy Bridge is the way to go and beats the current generation CPU's.

  • @KeibearsProperty not only that but overclock3d were able to take the new i5 to 5ghz with a noctua cooler, temps were under 76c altho the vcore was a whopping 1.6v!!!!

  • @codebean

So I guess that's a "YEA" for Sandy Bridge, or should I buy a current gen one? I don't know if you encode and render lots of 3D images if you should OC that high. I have a Zalman CNPS9900MAX, not sure how well I can OC on that, but I heard it's one of the best 2-3 air coolers.

  • @KeibearsProperty If you got the money i would get the sandy bridge, 5ghz at 1.6v ain't good, but something like 4ghz+, might be possible, with a decent enough cooler, but i'm just guessing as to what you maybe able to achieve, however there's no doubt about it they are EXTREMELY good overclockers from the looks of things.

  • @CryptedTales

All I need is CPU, RAM and motherboard and have a 1,000 budget so... I guess I can afford it lol. It doesn't seem like the 2600 i7 is worth the extra 100 but who knows... I may get that. The i5 is the sweet spot for sure though.

  • I'm confused lol. Did sc0pl335 use that Uncle SAM thing to YOU adobe, or did you use that at him lol?

  • @KeibearsProperty

When scopeless is talking it is his video. His video images suck most of the time.

  • @adobePC

I was thinking maybe it was his image, not yours cause you don't use images really you just come straight up and say what you want directly to someone.

Not saying it's bad, just saying that's what I noticed you tend to do but I wondered if maybe you didn't use an image this time.

  • @KeibearsProperty

When the other person is talking it is there video with their voice over. I do not sperate their audio and video. When I am talking some times I leave their video clip up during my voice over narration if there is no need for me to put up an image. Does that explain it better?

  • @adobePC

I suppose, but it wasn't needed. I got what you meant the first time. I just added that last part saying I wasn't sure if it was you or not just as a way of saying well this is why I asked the first time. But I knew what you meant the first reply. Sorry for confusing you, man. Sometimes I repeat myself and it might seem like I'm confused still or asking again. I have to work on that O.O.

  • @adobePC He repeats them a lot too. The internet is full of zillions of images, but he keeps using the same ones.

  • you can actually get a raid 0/1 array so you have the best of both worlds.

  • @TearsOfWar1

    This is true.

  • @TearsOfWar1 Personally for a home user I don't see the wisdom of wasting capacity and speed by mirroring a hard drive. If you back your stuff up to an external 1 or 2 TB drive, say, once a week, you'd be better off enjoying the increased speed of RAID 0. I'm running three drives in RAID 0, and every time I'm forced to use someone else's computer I get impacient because programs don't load up in seconds. Your milage may vary of course.

  • adobe you're absolutely right about this...but hearing "retarded asshole" every 20 seconds is getting annoying haha, change it up :P

keep up the good work though!

  • @ChrisFromJersey

I will try to switch it up next time.

  • BTW I got that Lian Li Dragon Lord PC case and it is awesome :)

  • @TearsOfWar1 Nice. Lian Li pretty good cases

  • you should make adobe premiere training videos like emeek does for final cut. another spark of emeek would be final cut vs adobe premiere

  • @techhelper1

I will try to do a few more tutorials soon but I have a few other videos that need to get done prior to that.

  • @adobePC So who else is on your shit list? Ha ha.

  • I could easily make my PC hot swap ready, not so much for the mac pro... I have a totally tooless case that does not require a single tool. Even my motherboard is fastened with speed screws...

  • @TearsOfWar1 :/ I'm still on an old Antec 900, the first version, with no wire management holes at all, which overall sucks, maybe one day I'll get a new one or drill some holes.

  • @GamingPrower I didn't even have a good chance to manage the cables because they are too short on my PSU. I need to get some extensions or a PSU with longer wires, preferably a modular PSU.

  • @TearsOfWar1

I was thinking about that, but I heard the power isn't as clean and good as in the traditional wired ones.

Is that true now still? When I heard this, I asked in 2009 OOPS lol. They might be better now and fine. I'm pretty good at cable management but that'd make an even bigger improvement.

  • @KeibearsProperty I have my eye on a certain corsair 850w modular psu.

  • @TearsOfWar1

Are they good? I'm a big PCPowerandCooling guy and ONLY get their Power Supplies. I heard Corsair and Cooler Master actually make really good Power Supplies though.

  • @KeibearsProperty Voted best power supply manufacturer 2010.

  • @TearsOfWar1

I wonder if they actually make their own, or if they just have say PCPandC make them and just have Corsair branding put on it. PCPandC won SO SO many awards and is always regarded as the best usually. Maybe they make the Corsair units. Or maybe not. No reign lasts forever. I just know some "cheaper" units are made by someone else and just use their own name. Such as say, Emerson radios, usually Sony makes but their name, not Sony's, is put on it.

  • @TearsOfWar1 As you can see by Zoul's video on ower supplies, Corsair PSU's are better than the el cheapos that are out there. :)

  • @MrMobilePerformance I am definitely gonna buy a CORSAIR PSU modular and do some nice cable management :)

  • @MrMobilePerformance Corsair's PSUs is just one. Plenty of quality power supplies out there like OCZ, Antec, Silverstone, Thermaltake etc.

  • @KeibearsProperty If you're concerned about the cleanness of you power, get shielded wires. That way the power won't modulated by other signals and vice versa. Of course, shielded cables cost more and the improvement may not be worth the extra expense.

  • 12:10

I'd like to see this recording, because as far as I'm aware, yes, you did specifically mention a striped raid array.

  • @hamtotem

Scopeless is an asshole. Why he even tries to own me is beyond me. You can go through my videos. I did state it was a striped RAID system for video editing in one of them.

  • Well said @ 05:30

  • @oOADROo

    I liked 10:07 myself.

  • I bet they'll charge you even more for that. Good video, sorry about the miss understanding we had.

  • @winfr34k

No problem. I was going to do a simple video comparing the Z800 to the Mac Pro but scopeless had to be an asshole as usual.
