    my next step is to run to the local Filipino market for a bottle of San Miguel, and then check out how to find or make some pickled okra. all together, sounds like the perfect combo.

  • I can't think of a reason why not! Maybe I'll do something like that with ingredients I find here.

  • Yeah - Looks good...but I tried my hand at cooking salmon patties before ...now I just leave them to to mom. Only she can cook them they way I like em. Mine were horrid! lol.

  • Like so much food prep that I do, this was an experiment. I promise this video showed the first time I used all these ingredients together. Wow, was I so very pleased!

  • You are such a creative and good cook. Can I use salmon in brine or in oil? Sorry for the simple question as i am not a very good cook.

  • If the salmon is cooked, I can't see why not. Drain it well before using. Sometimes, I get the salmon in the pouches. Sometimes I get fresh salmon and cook it myself (then chill before using when cooking it like this).
