It's doable, you're lookin at some beat up ones. From my experience unless the transmission has been fixed you're better off with an 04+ The syncros in these transmissions suck unless you shift the car how it wants to be shifted. Shep trans will charge you 1500 to get an 03 fixed and 900 for an 04+ this turns them into a bad ass street strip transmission! The 06 has a bigger turbo and MIVEC but it's well beyond a 12k price range. My suggestion would be to save up more or turbo a S2K

I am in the process of transplanting a fully built 06 Mivec. Thinking about getting the same turbo over an FP Black since it will be more reliable but a little less torque and a little more spool time.

when u have huge injectors... like over 1000cc .. the car takes a lil longer to start.. its normal.. also depends how good the tune is for idle.. which it also affects start up, getting injector latency its not always so easy..
