I've yet to try Smashburger. I will soon. The reviews do help though, but everyone has different tastes. I already know I won't like the fries, because I hate the taste and smell of garlic, but I do like the idea of them frying them in olive oil and the rosemary. I've eaten at Five Guys quite a bit, but still aren't crazy about their burgers. They are tasteless. I love the fries even though they are very greasy.
I can't say anything about in n out burger just because I've never tried it. So far my favs are smashburger and five guys. I really enjoyed the spicy baja at smash. But five guys is just original.
bad review lol price doesn't equal good burger. That's like saying if Superman 64 on Nintendo 64, was a good game if it was just 20 dollars at the time of the release. Wrong lol!!! $5.99 is Mcdonald and Burger King price, whats wrong with that? Five guys is more expensive!!! You pay at least for a meal $10 to $12 dollars!!!
Smashburger is a quality burger. 100% angus beef. Haven't tried their fries yet but the haystack onions are fanfuckintastic. If you think that any fast food burger is better and that smashburger is pricey than I feel sorry for you
Sean, if you think In N Out has a better tasting burger than Smashburger, then you have absolutely no credibility when it comes to the tastiness of food. And if you think six bucks is pricey, then it's you who continues to further the stereotype of the stingy wallet patron of Utah County. Stick with McDonald's dollar menu, dude.
In N' Out and five guys are garbage compared to Smashburger. Not even close. I'd rather pay the two extra dollars for the quality of the meat, toppings, and bun options. The service is also, usually, pretty exceptional. That compared to NONE at the two other places.
Wow, in the Twin Cities, the Star Tribune rated Smash Burger way above In and Out and 5 Guys. I also have to agree. Smash Burger at any price is the best burger in the world, IMO, without a doubt.
smash burger is amazing

@legionaire2005 a meal at smash is about 20 bucks, give or take a few, if you get fries and the biggest burger and a drink.

I'm sorry but I have to disagree with this critic! Smashburger is much better than Five Guys and In-n-Out but I do agree that it is pricey!

Their mistake was ordering 1/3 pound burgers. 1/2 pound is so worth it and frankly just tastes better
