Either way, I'm coming up on my 4th year of playing. The reason these songs take me so long, is because i learn them, then spend a LOT of time getting it into my head and making sure i can play it right, again and again.

I appreciate the advice, but i don't need to know how to become a "good" guitarist, because in my eyes, I already am. Being able to play Alexi Laiho's songs doesn't make you good.

Its a floyd rose system, and locking nut. too lazy to downtune, so I'm playing it exactly as Alexi does, but playing it in E Standard =]
