I'm in with you to lose weight. I will start mine starting next Monday. They only advice I have which I havn't tried yet, is on a daily basis, to write down everything you eat or drink. I read that it makes you think twice about what you eat each time since your keeping up with everything. Best of luck to everyone that is out to lose weight. It took awhile to put it on & it will take awhile to take it off.

the only advice i wish to give you at this time is eat as many raw fruits and vegetables as you possibly can. stay away from processed, prepackaged stuff as much as you can.

You can do it Scutter! Excellent start by thinking of it NOT as a "diet" BUT as "changing how/what you eat". Stay away from diet drinks and reduced fat foods that substitute nutrition with chemicals and artificial sweeteners. Water and *real* food! Regarding exercise, when you get going on your forest walks, just try to keep your heart rate up (not at an "I'm dying" level, but enough that you can feel it). The forest floor should provide some cushion for your knees. Carry on!

You did good though. And you don't have a lot of weight to lose. You are already in pretty decent shape. But I know that you will feel better if you keep that up every day!

The lifestyle change is the way to go... It's not about "dieting" it's about eating to live instead of living to eat and incorporating enjoyable physical activities into your day to day to life instead of "exercising". Eat smarter and move more... That's the way to go...
Scutter, Like you, when I started my weight-loss journey, my legs hurt really bad. I also have poly-neuropathy in all 4 limbs (from Lymes, not Diabetes). So, I started my exercise routine in bed before rising. There are pressure methods for toning. Such as...Pressing the palms together as hard as you can. You hold for 25 seconds, and repeat 3 times. Then lift your legs and hold for 25 seconds, 3 times. Using your imagination on these, you will think of more. Best wishes!

you are defiecient in minerals, especially chromium. it won't fix you just by taking FDA set RDA but you must mega dose on them. I have wasted 7 years of my life experimenting with nutrients, let me know if you need help.

Weight Loss is Simple - only people trying to make money make it complex.
Keep a food diary, and note every single thing you eat and drink for a week or two.
Add up your calories and see where you're at. Start taking in less calories and you will start losing weight.
Exercise -and being active is the second part of the equation, but you don't need to goto the gym or have a crazy schedule, just get off the couch/computer chair.

Eat less. Dont drink a lot soda. Dont smoke a lot. Do cardio and weight training often. Easy. Hard part is the motivation
