I saw this movie when I was about 14 and though I thought the song was beautiful, I don't think I really understood the lyrics. I saw it again when I was 18 and the beauty and power of the lyrics hit me so hard, that I was almost in tears.

This is a beautiful song, thank you so much for posting it! The line "Lorsque tu la tiendras au bout de ton fusil" which is translated here as "When you have her in your sights" is literally "When you have her at the tip of you gun." Both work, but personally I think the French is more graphic and beautifully put.

I love this! Both in English and in French, it's great. I can't understand all of the French, but you don't necessarily need the translations to appreciate the scene, but it just ADDS so much to it. Nothing is taken away by not understanding it.
