That is not true! If it weren't for Dave Gahan's voice then Depeche Mode wouldn't be half of what it is now! I mean, I certainly couldn't imagine Martin Gore singing Personal Jesus. Sorry Mart :P

depeche mode is basically Martin L. Gore on production and Dave Gahan's voice on top. Gahan could never do what Gore does, meanwhile Gore's voice isn't 1/4 as powerful.
