the system on the Ford/Lincoln is radar-based and therefore more accurate--and WAY less complicated than the lexus. If the camera zoomed out you will noticed that the front isn't in all the way. betcha the next lexus will adapt ford's tech. Bottom line, park-assist is a God-sent feature for the lovely ladies behind the wheel ;)

i test drove a lexus ls460 premium luxury sedan, and that piece of eurocrap called benz (yank tanks don't even count).. kraut mobil benz was so badly rattling (s550 2008) that i wouldn't let my dog piss in it...lexus was way better: hybrid, automatic, advanced luxury, super quiet, what a car!!

This is stupid. Why do you need a 8 speed automatic transmission? If you can't parallel park don't drive, I mean damn the thing doesn't even really park it just cuts the wheel and backs up. You still have to pull forwards. If you want to make something useful make the wheels rotate so you strafe into a spot. Good job Toyota/Lexus on fooling another group of idiots!

Reliability issues? none. i cant tell you how many BMWs ive seen that have over 100,000 miles and the owner didnt need to replace anything. 200,000 miles...even 250,000 miles and the replacements have been to a minimum. BMW is the master of engines. they won 37 international engine of the year awards. the next closest company is Toyota with 26. so when you talk bad about germans, make sure to exclude BMW.
