I will be using amsteel 1/2" for a life support system. Can you post a video or tell me where I can find how to stitch and secure a fixed eye splice in amsteel so it won't come undone, even in extreme situations?
a very informative video, I use a zig zag stitch with some small shock cord to finish it off. we also use a tube thimble when it is for use with amsteel blue, that way, the thimble can't drop out of the eye if the rope gets stretched. cheers

I had a brain fart when I did this video. The proper bury lengths, which will be your first mark measurements are as follows.....
5/16 = 19.75"
3/8 = 23.75"
