Speeches always mess up a trailer. ALWAYS. Period. But the funniest thing about this whole movie is, is that Jason Statham is fighting like a badass throughout the entire film, YES EVEN DURING THE MAIN BATTLE, without any armor whatsoever. He instead utilizes all his Kun-Fu skills to kick Krug ass. With nothing to do or watch, this is a "not-so-bad-movie" to watch to entertain yourself when you have nothing else to do. I rather enjoyed it even though it had its retarded moments, lol.

The reason you can blame the director for the bad acting is because i've seen every one of these actors in this movie put on a great individual performance. This directo rneeds to get more out of his actors. His funding should stop quickly.
Video games tend to have paper thin stories so as not to distract the player from the gameplay. Not all video games, but dungeon siege did for sure. The story is something the game's creator dreamed up when he was 7, vaguely inspired by LOTR. What happens when you make that into a movie? You get something that is on the level of a 7 year old, and rips off LOTR. Hell, the game had crappy gameplay too, so how could it have enough fans to fill a movie theatre?
The people who have allowed Boll to use their game licenses for movies really need to learn to at least google him or something so they can see that he is amazingly good at turning gold into a yellow painted pile of monkey crap. Just because a game is great does not mean you can bring in a shitty director/producer like Boll in and expect to get something back that doesn't smell like sweaty ball cheese.
This movie is like the poor man's version of 'The Lord of the Rings'. It consists of uninteresting characters, boring battles, and cheesy special effects. I watched it at a friend's house one time, and nearly fell asleep. However, I will say that it's slightly better than Uwe Boll's past travesties (e.g. "The House of the Dead", "Alone in the Dark", and "Blood Rayne"). Still a bad movie, though.

Video games tend to have paper thin stories so as not to distract the player from the gameplay. Not all video games, but dungeon siege did for sure. The story is something the game's creator dreamed up when he was 7, vaguely inspired by LOTR. What happens when you make that into a movie? You get something that is on the level of a 7 year old, and rips off LOTR. Hell, the game had crappy gameplay too, so how could it have enough fans to fill a movie theatre?

The people who have allowed Boll to use their game licenses for movies really need to learn to at least google him or something so they can see that he is amazingly good at turning gold into a yellow painted pile of monkey crap. Just because a game is great does not mean you can bring in a shitty director/producer like Boll in and expect to get something back that doesn't smell like sweaty ball cheese.

This movie is like the poor man's version of 'The Lord of the Rings'. It consists of uninteresting characters, boring battles, and cheesy special effects. I watched it at a friend's house one time, and nearly fell asleep. However, I will say that it's slightly better than Uwe Boll's past travesties (e.g. "The House of the Dead", "Alone in the Dark", and "Blood Rayne"). Still a bad movie, though.
