@Swissbanker77 Bono was totally outta key. The bass line doesnt change when they stop and restart the song. And the guitar isnt doing any chords. Adam is using a technique to get the guitar to feed back using the A string.

That's Bono's fault, I think, he sings in the wrong key at the beginning of the song, while Edge and Adam play on the same key. But that's OK, Bono is only human. What happened is that Edge's bass was tuned half step down. When Adam heard it at the beggening, he ajusted himself but bono came completely off key.

you should notice one thing:D this is 2 chord song. A and D... i think adam or edge could just immediatelly after they realised their mistake play the right key..for examp. as soon as adam has realised it he could just move his hand to higher key, the same to edge :D it's very simple song so they could do it.. but anyway, great musicians

Anyone who plays an instrument knows you can tune it an within minutes it will fall back out, temperature movement of the said instrument will cause this ..bit funny this clip it shows even tho you make mega bucks you too are human also Bono is a bit pissy abt it lol

It was the bass that edge was playing that was out of tune. You can tell because Bono is singing it one semitone higher, adam's guitar is tuned correctly. And Larry doesn't notice because his drums don't make notes!

im not sure who's right, but since a lot of the guitar track are harmonics notes (so really open notes) adam really has no way of switching key even if he tried (exept for doing pinch harmonics ofc but that only works if you want to go for higher keys and not lower)...seems to me edge just went wrong.

Anyone remember when Adam skipped a show either on the Achtung Baby or Zooropa tour in the 90s in Australia and his roadie had to sub in for him? At least he's OK and all is well, and they're performing just fine now. Adam's face was great. He's pretty humble compared to Bono.

U2 haven't done a tour named after an album since the 'Joshua Tree Tour'. The 'ZOO TV Tour' was broken in two. The first half was in 92. Then when Achtung Baby's sister album Zooropa was released, They done a second half in 93. But Adam missed a night in the 97-98 'PopMart tour.'

The bass and the gutiars were not in the correct tuning as each other (1/2 step difference)... you can see Adam when he plays the harmonics at the start of the song they are in the wrong key as Edge and Bono's singing...
