  • I don't believe in it. You ever see a lion limber up before it takes down a gazelle?

  • @endoskeleton yes but you are not a lion

  • @endoskeleton

no....I live in a city, not a forest or desert.

But in all seriousness, it's just better to get your body loose and warm before a run. Sometimes I prefer to just go run without stretching.

  • that warmup is a myth. your body tries to maintain the same temperature it doesn't "warm up". If that is the case we should tear all the muscles in our bodies when we stretch out in our sleep or in bed. And forcing joints to go beyond where they are supposed to is not good for it. If stretching is the cure all then why have I known people that stretch that pull muscles I don't stretch and have never tore one or pulled one.

  • @Htown20XX

really? So you don't get at all warmer when u do any exercise?? Must be nice not sweating or getting hot.

  • What I just started running I thought u had to stretch before u run well that's what my p.e teacher use to do to us damm no wonder

  • I agree. Stretch after you run. I stretch for 30 to 45 mins after a run.

  • @kcpd2050 ?seriously?

  • Ive been running 2-5 hours everyday for the past 33 years and find stretching after my runs is the most effective

  • 2-5 hours everyday? Do you work at home or something?

  • @numbcore lol

  • @numbcore yea it sounds long but that's the best way to build your core muscles and work on flexibility.

  • @numbcore wake up early
