I'd say, if you have to to keep the Raptor in production, cut back on the JSF (for the time being) to where they're needed more, like the Navy and such, to 1,400 units, and put out another 200 F-22s with the latest tech on board. I should mention that I have no ulterior motives for my stance either. I'm just a concerned citizen and an F-22 enthusiast that has a good idea of how capable it really is. Anyway, keep up the good fight.
I agree completely, but for somewhat different reasons. Air combat wise, If you want to cut someone, you don't cut the MVP just because you don't need him right now to win, especially when most of the other players are starting to show their age. The F-35 JSF is a good plane and all, but the F-22 is air dominance personified. That's what it was built for. I don't see the F-35 being that relevant in Iraq or Afghanistan either, but for whatever reason that's still getting green lit.
what kind of war does the F22 prefer? Maybe you can custom make one for it hahahaha . You are fighting several wars and can't find any use for it!
