  • ewan mcgregor. lol.

  • i have a real question here. i lived in maine and i have moved here and there. lived in tenn and georgia and ive seen the huge crosses. but is not beliving in god really big deal? is saying i dont belive in god really matter to people in othere states? just wondering. i guess up here in the north part of US this isnt a problem. anyways was just wondering. ty to whoever lets me know.

  • @gojoewhite1234 It's a problem when people try to legislate their religion.

  • @YaleBreaker well yea. i understand that. that has been a problem for awill. look at bushs. but i meen is it really taboo to say im athiest? like people look at you funny and what not? even for polititons to say it. is it really that bad a thing to say?

  • @gojoewhite1234 It depends on where you are, but overall atheists are still statistically one of the most feared and hated minorities in the US. The first openly atheist congressman was Pete Stark in 2007 - and I've heard from a couple insiders that there are a fair handful who are closeted atheists, which says a lot about the climate in which they got elected.

  • @YaleBreaker see thats amazing to me. i cant understand this behaviour. i guess to sum it up simply it seems we are lacking more in education then i thought in school. i relise we are somwere around 100th spot or whatever. but its amazing to me. the lvl of understanding is so low. i guess we dont have this problem up here. i dono. just sounds like the 50s when being black was bad i guess. being black was never bad. so for me same applys. have been thinking about doing politics thou. maybe time.

  • I enjoyed this immensely! It never fails to amaze me how bigoted and cowardly ignorant politicians really are.

  • Politicians are the worst kind of cowards.

  • @ridewave444 Modern politicians are a result of silly citizens getting pent up about slips of the tongue and less-than-perfect choices of sentence structure;

    About the clothes they wear and the food they eat;

About where they jog each morning and the company they keep.

For a politician to reach any real plateau of success, they either need to boast a flawless personality and array of talents (good luck finding anyone like that), or hide their opinions and cater to the public.

    Love society ;p

  • @jaieet Welcome to a representative republic/democracy. The people are vapid and inconsequential in their thought processes, so therefore the representatives they elect will be vapid and have inconsequential thought processes.

  • Ovarian cancer for both of these beefeater fatty old whores for being religitards

  • Can't you just feel all that Christian love, tolerance, and understanding.....LOL

How Christians can claim adherence to a belief system that supposedly preaches peace and love and yet hold such bigoted views is beyond me. Oh the irony!!

  • @nosajj12345

    ## I think a lot of Christians will entirely agree with you. What is unChristian about meeting with atheists ? It's exactly what Christians *should* do, *as a result of being Christian*.

  • @nosajj12345 How they do it is by being hypocrites.

  • You're asking politician to be real and speak the truth , LOL... You're so funny ....

  • 5:30

    I got it.

  • Excellent, except for the bit where he calls her, "bitch". That's sexist.

  • @sptfgpn Thats not sexist, she is a bitch in the context of what he said. He's not saying women are bitches like some gangsta, he's saying that particular woman is a bitch. Is it sexist to call a man a dick or a pig?

  • @torm0

    "Bitch" is inherently misogynist.

  • @AncaThirteen So even when a women uses it it's misogynistic? I don't really give a shit how many women say it offends them. I'll keep using the word when someone pisses me off. I've been called a walking cock by a feminist before but I didn't roar out that she was misandrous, even though it's a far more offensive term. How can calling someone an animal name be inherently sexist? People are called cows, dogs, snakes, worms and pigs. Yet 'bitch' seems to be held above these, I wonder why?

  • @AncaThirteen I agree. But here is a question: what do you think about misandry? Or are your ethics only one way?

  • @torm0 Actually, women often say "pig" or "dick" or whatever, and yet they never seem to be bothered about hte misandrous theme of such language.....it appears that some feminists are not interested in JUSTICE or ethics or integrity, rather they are interested only in empowering women regardless of the cost: ie., they are female chauvinists

  • @lajungesombre true that, feminism is no longer about equal rights for women, they have that. They want less rights for men, more rights for women.

  • @sptfgpn Thats not sexist, she is a bitch in the context of what he said. He's not saying women are bitches like some gangsta, he's saying that particular woman is being a bitch. Is it sexist to call a man a dick or a pig?

  • @torm0 It IS sexist to refer to any woman as a "bitch", Matt Dilabhunty is obviously a clever guy. He doesn't need to resort to that kind of abuse.

  • @sptfgpn If your using it as a general term for women it's sexist but he's using it as an insult. What do you think is an appropriate 'non-sexist' insult for a woman then?

  • @torm0 There's not need to use insults at all. His arguments are strong enough without name calling.

  • @sptfgpn Your changing tac, you said his comments were sexist, not insulting. Of course there's a need for insults to fling at this woman, she's insulting every athiest with a generalisation.

  • I hate religion. its evil and it poisons minds. if god did exist id tell him to go fuck himself just because i hav e a better sense of moral judgement than he does.

  • Matt's misogyny is pretty disgusting, but I agree with a lot of the rest of it.

  • @AncaThirteen Misogyny. Really? I didn't know Matt has pure hatred for all women. That's pretty hefty

  • @AncaThirteen I'm pretty sure your talking about his bitch comment, heres what i've already said on the subject.

'Thats not sexist, she is a bitch in the context of what he said. He's not saying women are bitches like some gangsta, he's saying that particular woman is being a bitch. Is it sexist to call a man a dick or a pig?'

  • Matt, you're living under a rock. You assume American's can actually think for themselves. The media being responsible doesn't get ratings.

  • Apparently Kay Hagen doesn't have any honor, or integrity, or honesty. She's scared that actually talking to "Americans" that happen to be Atheists is a political suicide move.

  • Is there a dependable site that shows polls for how many women tend to be Atheists? I am just curious, not trying to make any correlation between the 2. Women out number men so i would not be surprised to see if there are more women Atheists than men.

  • @Antimidation

I would suspect the opposite is probably true. Religion thrives off of emotional bias and insecurities, and without meaning any offense, women do tend to be more emotional than men.

  • @PiroNiro Kudos for finding, and pointing out that the reporter who asked the pertinent "So what if Obama is Muslim" question was Cambell Brown. I love it when the internet effects knowledge like that.

  • I don't care what side you're on or what you think your politicians believe, they are all sociopathic lying slime.

  • CNN is so bigoted against Atheists. They always have reverends and muslim and jewish spiritual leaders but they never invite an atheist on, then there's that whole "Why don't atheist just shut up" fiasco.

  • @GodlessInfinity atheists are lots of bitches who have no hope on eternity, i prefer to believe in Mr froggy pants than to think im gonna die and just rot away from existance

  • Comment removed

  • Gah, pardon the typo on 10,000

  • @mindingoduparque Typos are evil. Why would anyone want to exist for an eternity? That's the type of thought that only comforts you if you don't think too much on it. Imagine, day in and day out, no matter how ideal your conditions, trapped in existence. 100 years, more than an average human lifetime, no escape, 1000 years, more than a ten lifetimes, no escape, 10,000 years, no escape, 1,000,000,000 years, and you haven't even begun eternity, your very existence becomes a prison.

  • @GodlessInfinity mm so thats ur opinion, YOU think eternity would be shit to live, well thats what u think my friend, other ppl prefer to believe theres more than this crap that real life is. Then comes some guy who calls himself atheist and starts bashing all religions, and yet they think theyre smarter than religious ppl.

I will tell u something, i would prefer to be surrounded by christians than to be surrounded by shit eating atheists, cuz if theres no god, there is no limit for evil

  • @mindingoduparque Yeah, I doubt anyone wanting to live for eternity has given the concept much thought honestly, but whatever. We both know you're just trolling anyway.

  • @mindingoduparque Wrong. Christians are just as evil as the rest of us.

  • @GodlessInfinity the only limit an atheist sees for not raping a woman is that he would get in trouble, but if u fucking remove this possibility...guess what? lots of shit hold a religious one from doing it. the example may be shitty, yes i kno, but if u have a piece of still living brain u probably got my point and you should think about it

  • @mindingoduparque Is that why there's a negative correlation between atheism and crime and divorce, and a positive correlation between atheism, intellect, and monogamy?

  • @GodlessInfinity where did u see these false correlations? new york times? oh please shut up now while ure only stepping on the shit

  • @mindingoduparque Oh, we've thought about it already. You just admitted that without the threat of hellfire and brimstone by a hateful, murderous god, you would run around raping anything that moves when you think you wouldn't get caught.

Most of us aren't such natural scumbags, but thanks for admitting to your own personal psychological instability.

  • @DeadlyChinchilla if theres no god, theres no limits, u got that point you piece of crap, stop trying to use smart words to fill your lack of subject, why do all you youtuber stupid kids do that?

If there is no God, then everything is made of shit, not worth anything but shadows and ashes, so if u choose to believe that, fine, but dont mock ppl who do, its not cowardice to face the truth, because of the simple fact that THERE IS NO KNOWN TRUTH, now shut up you atheist faggots lol

  • @mindingoduparque Awww, look at the rude little god-fearing rabbit, cursing and being generally unsociable. Pretty typical response, actually.

Even if "THERE IS NO KNOWN TRUTH" were even remotely true, the idea that someone like YOU has secret supernatural information anyone else doesn't is, frankly, absurd. I'd not follow you into an alley alone, with your attitude, much less care what you think happens in some other mythical life.

Btw, everything is made of *carbon.* Yes, even shit.

  • @DeadlyChinchilla So your answer to choose in what to believe or not is based in what cientists tell you. ok now tell me how its different than priests.

Youre talking about shit i didnt even mention, you are putting words on my mouth cuz you are assuming just because i dont think religion is absurd, i must believe in it.

You are the one being a stupid troll talking non sense shit just to make ppl talk, its the typical youtube kid

  • @mindingoduparque My "beliefs" have nothing to do with science. What I *know* does. When you further your knowledge of the world, you find you require less and less beliefs to fill in the gaps. This is why the more intelligent you are, the more likely you are to be non-religious/spiritual.

Also, I really don't care or mind what *you* believe, personally.

Troll? No. Recurring flu, actually. Boredom = much YouTubing. Talking to people is sort of the point of a public forum, isn't it?

  • @mindingoduparque Just to be clear with you, I'll mock anyone who ascribes to ridiculous beliefs. You're not special in that regard, there are plenty of other people who believe stupid things too.

This world and life is what you make of it. If YOU can't find any value in it without making up magical stories, then I truly pity you. I personally am *awed* by this world, and I require no made-up fairy tales to feel its worth a great deal, to me personally and to us all. No god required.

  • @DeadlyChinchilla If you find this to be the answer for you, fine, but when u dont understand on your tiny mind why ppl have beliefs, you cant just mock them. You are being an ignorant fool.

I respect both atheists and religion believers, what i dont respect is fools like you who try to prove a point when theres no point to prove, and yet you try to do that mocking others. You are truly a fail kid

  • @mindingoduparque I understand perfectly well why people have beliefs, & having once been a rabid Christain frothing at the mouth for Jesus, I understand perfectly well why people are Christians, what they think, what they tell themselves, what they tell others, and what they REALLY mean when they say something in "Christian code." I CAN mock them, and I will continue doing so. This makes me honest, not ignorant. Only a child raves against what he doesn't LIKE simply because he doesn't like it.

  • @mindingoduparque You are an idiot. The only reason you believe in a fairy tale is because you are afraid of dieing so you delude yourself.

  • Oh damn this stupid bitch folded so wrong way. Does she not have any aides who could have given her some advice so she does not alienate all intelligent people. Matt is brilliant :)

  • tax the church

  • @CntrBrdr tax your children from pooping too! why not? maybe tax you for masterbaiting? good idea right?

  • @mindingoduparque those are some excellent ideas.

    ?

  • lol did he just make a referance to Louis CK with the Ewan McGreggor thing? if so, this man is now 100% my hero :p

  • @PiroNiro Why do you put a link to the original video, yet make it private?

  • I don't understand why matt has to curse so much. When Christians hear that you know what they are going to think

  • @therealallpro

If I was convinced that they actually were thinking, I might share your concern.

But to be serious I do disagree with you here. Matt isn't just anti-Christianity, and he's not just atheist. He's against superstition of any kind, presumably including the superstition that certain words are inherently "dirty". He wasn't speaking sexually or grotesquely. He was speaking emphatically, and there's nothing wrong or inappropriate about that.

  • @willzyx1980

I agree with you. curse words are just that. I was only speaking in a pragmatic sense.

  • Cheer up Matt, we'll have an atheist president by 2050.

  • Yeah that bitch got scared and folded like a cheap ignorant hooker!!! smfh

  • politicians are such chicken sh*t assholes!!!

  • LMAO! I love Dillahunty's "impression" of Wolf Blitzer.

  • another example of feminists pretending to be christian... I see it all the time at the local churches... females using christianity to assert themselves...

the only honest feminists are non-believers

  • i would say that it DOES matter if obama is a muslim. has anyone ever read the quran? put the bible to shame in terms of hatred and violence.

  • just like moderate Jews that see the stories in the old testement as metaphor, moderate Muslims do the same. There are lots of hard working muslims in the US and even fighting in the US armed forces. We have to remember that the muslim extremists are the muslim version of the KKK. Imagine if the KKK was in charge of america, that is what places like Iran are like. Muslims are not the problem, religous extremists like the KKK or Al-qaeda are.

  • i beg to differ. mohammed, the prophet of islam, is notorious for leading his army on many raids of tribes and villages to support his hedonistic lifestyle (countless sex slaves and 14 wives- one of which he married when she was JUST SIX YEARS OLD)

the terrorist muslims of today are acting EXACTLY like mohammed the 'prophet' did in his glory days.

muslims might not be the problem per se, but islam definitly needs to be reformed in a major way.

  • I'm pretty sure the wife your talking about was 8 when they married 14 if not younger when he first had sex with her. But I have never heard a Muslim in the west want to do anything like what you said.

I personally think all realigion need to be reformed but its not up to me.

yes they use dogma to get people to do bad things, just like when someone uses the bible to get someone to kill an abortion doctor. Unquestioning faith is a bad, but most muslims like most christains are good people.

  • interesting that you find a 50 year old man marrying an 8 year old girl acceptable.

you dont hear about muslims in the west wanting to do such a thing because here it is illegal. but in places like yemen you hear stories of 8 year old girls filing for divorces from their cousins.

the difference between christian abortion provider killers and muslim terrorists? mainstream christianity condemns these killinings. every major islamic gov and org supports terrorism (quietly or openly)

  • I never said It was acceptable, I think its discusting, but I think allot of stuff in the bible is discusting too.

its beside point I'm not worried about what they do over there but what they are doing over here. Allot of christians are happy about killing abortion doctors. but I agree I would like to hear more form the muslims speaking out against terrorists. The bottle line is that we should not judge all of a faith by the actions of a few, we need to judge individuals for what they have done.

  • "every major islamic gov and org supports terrorism (quietly or openly)" yes because they are theistic states. This was my origonal point the islamic world is run by the islamic version of the KKK. They run the governments and work there people up to hate anything thing that is not islamic. It would be the same here if the USA was run by the KKK, blacks would be slaves and every school the white kids would learn how much better they are and incuraged to hate the blacks and treat them like crape.

  • but the HATE is written right into the quran, the HATE comes right from the religion, right from their prophet!

do this- next time you talk to a muslim in america- ask them if they believe that apostates deserve the death penalty. of course, they will sayy they have rights in america, but then specify the death penalty for aposty in muslim countries- they will change their tune to "oh, well thats different over there."

    islam preaches violence and intolerance.

  • if you don't think there is hate written right into the bible your kidding yourself, just modern christians chose to ignore it. What do you think the dark ages were all about, the muslims are just going through there dark ages now.

Yes i believe some Islamic preachers do preach violance ant intolerance. but christains preach intolerance all the time toward homosexuals. The KKK preaches intolerance towards all other races and they are a christain org.

    Islamic extremists = the KKK

  • I guess basically what im saying that painting all muslims with the same brush is just as intolerant as the islamic extremists and the KKK.

I think we are both better then that, lets not judge people based on there religious beliefs, but on there actions. Are there bad muslims, of course are there bad christains and atheists, of course. The simple fact is when any dogma, christainity, Islam, communism, are treated as perfect truth they can be used to make good people do bad things.

  • religion is what guides people actions, it forms the most basic framework of their morals. above all else, a persons religious beliefs must be scrutinized. and if a person i am next to idolizes a man raped children, beheaded people of different tribes, and encouraged his followers to continue this behavior until they all capitulate, then i say that person has flawed morals. oh, and i know xtianity is also flawed, but when they start suicide bombing people like muslims, theyll be a priority too.

  • no religion dose not form a basic framework for our morals, culture and empathy do!

I do believe that religion can be used to get good people to do bad things, it can also be as excuse for any type of people to do horrific things. I'm not even going to start with christainity.

what is your solution kill all religious people or just all the muslims. Should we bane all religion or just islam.

maybe the best solution is to except people for there actions and not convict them for there beliefs.

  • religion is what people turn to for guidance, it provides a path to enlighten people. so i repeat- above all else, these religions must be scrutinized and criticised!

i may have been a little overboard with my anti-islam rant. however, it does not change the history of islam, nor does it change the reality of what can happen if people capitulate to islam.

i am not for the banning of any religion, nor am i in favor of legislating religion.

  • I am a moral enlightened person and I needed no religion to do so. I find Islam, christianity and the jewish faith to be completly immoral and people are moral dispite of religion not because of it. Religion did not guide those priests to morality when they raped those childeren.

Both Islam and christainity have very violent pasts so its sort of the pot calling the kettle black.

You are better then your religion and better then your holly text, trust in yourself that you are a good person.

  • Here in New Zealand running for office on a religious platform is political suicide. We're not very religious (Thank God LOL).

  • @warren52nz they din't put ray comfort on your flag? No adds saying "ask for christian leadership"? what's next, chocolate kangaroos raining from the sky to make children smile?

  • @warren52nz I envy New Zealand. Wish we were like you

  • @warren52nz true but recently they made a public declaration that New Zealand is a secular nation and the Catholic influence (I believe) of bishops made them take it back and I think they did.

  • @Neanderthalcouzin Well that's unfortunate.

  • @warren52nz sounds like a sweet country

  • @warren52nz Same here in the Netherlands. Hail Zeus! lol

  • @warren52nz that's why ray comfort had to leave. LOL

  • @ahmedeox "that's why ray comfort had to leave."

It's like the old joke.... "When he left New Zealand and went to the States, the average IQ of both countries increased."

But I don't want to insult the USA so just laugh at the idea.

  • @warren52nz ROFL!!! That's the funniest thing i heard this week!! Thanks for the laugh

  • @ahmedeox Thank you thank you. Rate it up then.... 8^D

  • @warren52nz Here in Quebec Canada in the 40s and 50s had a goverment too close to the church .. things didn't go well. Goverment programs fed children to predo priests for rape. Here now should you mention religion you are toast.

  • @ETericET Canada is well advanced on the US in many ways, gun control, violence, morality, intelligence, religion (lack of it), etc. It's funny that Americans tend to criticize Canada in light of the truth. Nevertheless, it's common here for young American tourists to sport a Canadian flag on their back pack because they know it makes drivers more likely to pick them up and your average New Zealander can't tell them apart.

  • @warren52nz I'll tell you a secret that will show you every time if it is a Canadian or not. Ask them what you roll up to win. They must say the rim. You see here in Canada we love our doughnut shops. We have a national chain that also has some kind of very addictive coffee. It's called Tim Horton's after a hockey player. Once a year they have a contest where you roll up the rim of the cardboard cup to see if you won. No Canadian doesn't know what to roll up to win lol.

  • @ETericET I haven't heard seen that ad but I'm Canadian by birth so I know Tim Horton's only too well. I'm just a bit out of touch. Was disappointed to see Vancouver lose the hockey and even MORE disappointed to see Canadians behaving like Americans afterwards.

  • Huh...interesting. I'm going to have to check that out. Thanks.

  • No, that I understand. What I mean is, I don't understand what you're talking about when it comes to what's going on with lawyers right now, and claims of fraud and such. I've never heard of any of that going on.

  • I'm not entirely sure I understand what you're talking about.

  • Apparently not.

  • The original ad video you linked to is marked as private :(

  • "Godless money"? Would that be different from the 'God money', as used by televangelist Richard Roberts for improper use of university funds for political and personal purposes, or what Ted Haggard, Jimmy Swaggart and Coy Privette paid for prostitutes services with, or what Kent Hovind never paid with to be convicted of 58 federal tax offenses and related charges? Hmm.

  • Wow. This goes to show you that the "American Freedom" thing is bullshit. Persecution destroys freedom. And this is persecution of the worst kind.

  • omfg really, how biggotted and ignorantly religious are you Americans, i thought that was just a stereotype ! wow !

  • Why can't the religious and the non religious just get along. I'm presbyterian. Not born again, but it's still a Christian branch. Point is Elisabeth Dole is not paying attention to all citizens, and that is wrong. Stop alianating( I know, it's spelled wrong) or trying to sweep athiests under the rug. WE ARE ALL TAX PAYERS AND CITIZENS. And we all have the same rights. Christians, stop telling athiests their going to hell. Athiests, we know what you believe, don't try to chanve our F

  • Religious people are too worried about our eternal souls, or some nonsense like that. I'm flattered, but they can keep it to themselves.

  • Dude ? Why would you want to go to hell. People of faith are here to make sure you don't. I know you don't like being preached to, but if you don't have the info., you can't make a conscious decision on faith or not.

  • You don't have any more information regarding hell than I do. You have stories, many of which have long been disregarded and cherry picked by the religious. If you know about hell, you also know to stone disobedient children. I don't need any of that.

  • Nobody Stones disobediant kids anymore, except the middle Eastern muslims, and other middle East physco religions. When Christ was cruxified, the old laws don't apply anymore . I tired of athiests referring to the old testiment to argue Gods wrath, because it doesn't mean anything anymore.

Just know that hell is worse then you could ever think of. But.....Theres no evidence right ? So it can't possibly exist and niether can God. Step out of your show called reality based reality.

  • If you aren't stoning your kids, you aren't following the teachings of the bible. That means you got your morality from somewhere else.

As for everything else, the arguments for god are tenuous and tired. I'm truly sorry that people feel compelled to waste their lives trying to please an imaginary being.

  • deathbotv1, Are you seriously so errogant and stupid as to believe that in modern times, because the bible said back 2000 years ago, that Christians would still follow that ? Sorry to break your sterio type of Christians but we are not above the law. Stoning kids today would result in prison sentences and worse. Besides that, We love our kids. Theres a new way to punish your kids and thats taking away their cell phones, cars, or game systems. Not letting play their sport or go out.

  • So you're admitting that the bible is obsolete and the people who wrote it DID NOT foresee the changing moral climate. Thank you.

  • Earth is not 6000 years old. It's 4.8 billion years old. The people who wrote the bible didn't have the scientific tools to make a decent hypothisis on that. The bible does teach some good lessons and has some great chapters teaching Gods love and lessons. But Stoning kids when they were disobedient was...... a primitive act of punishment back in those days. When Jesus was cruxified, all of those old rules were put aside. My personal belief is there is a bigger God then the bible God

  • Because it's not the truth. I know it sounds better and it makes more sense that we just die and thats it. But thats not the way it goes. We are accountable for our actions and our decision based on God. You can say he doesn't exist, but thats not truth. I know people think its cool now to deny God due to lack of evidence. But really think about as a human being, Why you think we Evolutionised differently from animals . And why we search for money, power, and happingness. Think about it !

  • I thought about it. It's the classic "strawman" argument.

Let me illustrate by assuming that some incorrect idea is generally accepted -- let's say the idea that 2+2=7. Advocates of a competing idea say that 2+2 actually equals 9 -- even if they successfully show that 2+2 does not equal 7, it still won't mean that 2+2=9, and it won't even make it more likely that 2+2=9. Individual drive just can't be explained away as easily as saying god did it.

  • For you to ask an atheist why he would want to go to hell, is like for me to ask you, why do you want to get gored by a unicorn? Why do you want all your gold stolen by a leprechaun?

  • People that communicate the idea of hell are normally the less likely ones you'd like to spend eternity with.

    Example:

Person 1: "Dude, you're going to hell"

Person 2: "As long as you go to heaven, I'll go to hell and be happy in hell because I won't have to hear your damned condemnation for an eternity."

  • Then the saying is true, Ignorance is bliss

  • If ignorance was bliss, religious people wouldn't be so hateful and bigoted. They'd be happy and laid back, like me and most of the atheists i know.

  • Most of the athiests I hang out with are laid back and cool. They feel the same about me. It's imazing what a few bad apples can do to tarnish the whole systems on both sides. Thiests and athiests should just get along. But as long as radicals on either end make waves, peace will never prevail.

  • I guess I can agree with you there.

  • I won't preach to you, or tell you your wrong. I have no right to judge you, and I know alot of Christians that do, and it's obnoxious.

The only thing I kind of get upset about is being insulted for my faith, probably the same as you being insulted for not having faith. If I really thought God was the way hateful athiests make him out to be. I would become egnostic.

I recently posted a funny saying in a forum. Just kind of kidding around. BEER= GOD. I was ripped apart by fellow ......

  • I was ripped apart by fellow Christians. I was being told that God wouldn't find what I said funny. I said if humanity was given a sense of humour and we are made in Gods image, We share his sense of humour. It shut them right up. It just goes to show that Christians are very judgemental and errogant sometimes.

  • I mostly think that intelligent, civilized people such as ourselves would be able to get along much easier if religion was discarded permanently. I don't need a supernatural dogma to love my neighbors, care about the infirm, etc.

  • So your suggesting that you are pretty much hateful against anyone who has faith in something you don't ?! I thought you were better then that. It's one thing to disagree with it, but to discriminate those with faith is a completely different matter.

  • You're totally twisting my words. I'm saying that you don't need religion to be moral or do the right thing. period. Misinterpret this (again) however you like.

  • Okay, I opoligies on my outburst there. I get defensive, because there are some online athiests who feel the way I Mis interprated. Yes, everyone has morals and manners.

  • Telling me this shows there is really no tolorance that you have for people with faith and different cultures. Is that loving your neigbor ?

  • I love the fact that if you want to comment on the scare campaign video of the NRSC they make sure to disable comments. There were receiving too many comments in support of the Godless American PAC and against the National Republican Scare Campaign. Sorry PiroNiro for posting on this vid. I just needed to vent.

  • well i mean it kind of depends on whether or not she actually did meet with them.

  • I don't like when Dillahunty swears so much - don't get me wrong; he's great, but he doesn't come across as well as he does in the Atheist Experience when he keeps it clean.

  • Think about the groups that define those "swears" as bad words and it makes more sense why he doesn't care about what language he uses. I do understand your point that he will reach more Christians if he uses "clean" speech, but it depends on what ideal that you are fighting for.

  • Not just great to hear for the commentary by the guys, but also the clips from the news shows they couldnt quite recall....thanks for posting!

  • I live in NC and I was disgusted when these ads came on TV.

  • i remember seeing that atheist add. in fact dole ONLY ran attack ads it was friggin pathetic.

holy crap was i glad dole got voted out.

  • It really is too bad that the only politicians that make it onto the ballot are hypocritical, self serving assholes.

That they sell out to lobbyists before they are even elected should come as no surprise.

    Cynical aside:

Just what and see what happens to 'reforming' Wall Street and the banks. Never gonna happen.

  • Hey tards, did your campain work in ousting Dole? Heh heh

  • it also weekens here when she denies attending the meeting because it's going to come out and then she's spending the campaign battling a lie. your right she should have went with " i represent all my district" (minus the divisive bitch part i think)

  • lol...me too I have a raging hard-on for Keith Olberman

  • ...Need KEITH!

  • those retards

  • GREAT VID MAN if i can call it that lol but it was nice listening

  • That Ewan McGregor joke might be related to Louis CK - Shameless, stand-up act on HBO, as Louis tells a joke of him having a crush on Ewan McGregor ("As I looked at him I realized that I was shivering like a school girl" etc references of Ewan McGregor being absolutely gorgeous).

  • Ok Teacher.

  • I agree 100% with what you say. BTW using the f word in every second sentence isn't clever, its middle school playground and just detracts from your arguement.

  • 2 Fucking C_NTS

I'm so sick of Stupid Fucking Americans like this..

  • @TheSpindles

heh, sorry. Not ALL of us are stupid though :)

  • two stupid women

  • Right the fn(x=x) on!

  • Thanks for posting Piro. I agreed 100%.

  • I agree completely. The USA is going down the tubes with all the bigotry from the Christians. Canada looks better everyday.

  • As was predicted in the Noodly Book of His Greatness the Flying Spaghetti Monster, we shall see his prophets coming one by one. They may not believe in him, but they shall fight for our equality to believe in him all the same.

Kay Hagan is, at least on the surface, a step for progress. She may yet do some good for americans as a whole, not worrying about their religion.

  • yes she should have said that but shes an ignorant too so... lulz

  • seriously, after hearing about the california thing, kay hagan, the muslim obama thing(which as a matter of fact i responded to it just as these guys did), I have come to the underlying question of:WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON IN THIS COUNTRY? How is religion, a personal belief system, going to dictate how a democratic and officially religiously free country who to elect and how to run the country? It really pisses me off when there is a large minority that gets fucked over by the bigot majority.

  • Exactly. Thus, there is nothing sweeter than what is happening to Sarah Palin right now, as the GOP have thrown her evangelical-false-populist husk under the bus.

In the future, I hope the GOP learn from this and see an evangelical/anti-science base as a harmful dead end.

  • I don't know, the GOP had to pander to that vote. It only really turned against them when the economy went to shit (or the media convinced us it had). 20 years ago Sarah Palin wouldn't have had a chance to be selected as VP, but this year she rallied the base. The margin of defeat for a party seeking a 3rd term in a bad economy with two ongoing wars should have been twice as large. Further, many of the Democratic gains in this election and previous have been by socially conservative Congressmen

  • In a presentation for my sociology class, I ask them to replace every word that represents atheists or nonbelievers with words like "black people", "jews", "gays"...etc. I hope some of them have their consciousness raised by it.

  • Was there any responses from the audience?

  • As always guys, you guys say the right things. I am an atheist. I heard the "He's not a Muslim he's a good man", and I cringed thinking there would be a wave of apologies all around for saying Muslims are not "good" people. I was wrong. Every day the theists surprise me.

  • Gee, in my scandinavian home-country we're some 80 percent non-believers. In America they're probably 80 percent christtards..I'd go insane over there.:)

  • just so happens that i am going insane. It's unbelievable. Don't ever move here.
